Why Belek?
Belek’s resorts are among the biggest and best-equipped in the Mediterranean, many with private beaches, aquaparks, kids’ clubs and several à la carte restaurants included. It is also Turkey’s golf centre, with championship courses next door to many hotels. The trade-off is that it is purely a resort area, without a historic town; Antalya’s old town and the Roman theatre at Aspendos are short drives away.

When to go
May to October for the beach; spring and autumn are perfect for golf. Flights to Antalya take around four and a quarter hours, and most Belek hotels are about 30 minutes from the airport.
