Sun-belt classic

Caribbean

The Caribbean is the spiritual home of the all-inclusive holiday — beachfront resorts where everything wraps into one price, from rum cocktails at sunset to non-motorised watersports. Antigua, Barbados, St Lucia and Jamaica are our biggest UK departures, with direct year-round flights from London.

Overwater luxury

Maldives

All-inclusive in the Maldives covers far more than meals. Premium properties roll in seaplane transfers, multiple speciality restaurants and water-based experiences. Resorts on house-reef-fringed islands let you snorkel straight from your villa steps.

Riviera Maya & Cancún

Mexico

Cancún and the Riviera Maya have built a global reputation for high-quality all-inclusive resorts. Riviera Maya delivers calmer beaches and cenote excursions; Cancún brings a livelier resort strip. Direct flights from London and Manchester.

Beyond the Maldives

Indian Ocean

Mauritius, Seychelles, Zanzibar and Sri Lanka all deliver strong all-inclusive value. Long-stay packages get particularly good upgrades — the further ahead you book, the better the room category tends to get at the same headline price.

18+ only

Adults-only all-inclusive

An adults-only all-inclusive holiday is the easy version of a couples trip — no kids' pools, no clubhouse, no early breakfast queue. We book it most often in four places.

Caribbean — Sandals, Couples, TRS Turquesa

The original adults-only all-inclusive market. Sandals (Antigua, Barbados, St Lucia, Jamaica) and Couples (Jamaica) lead the category. Direct year-round flights from London. See live Caribbean offers.

Maldives — almost universally 18+

Most Maldives resorts are de-facto adults-only by design — overwater villas, intimate islands, no kids' clubs. Premium all-inclusive packages here typically include seaplane transfers, speciality restaurants and snorkelling. See live Maldives offers · explore Maldives destination.

Mexico (Riviera Maya) — Excellence, Le Blanc, TRS Hotels

Cancún and the Riviera Maya have the deepest adults-only inventory at the premium tier. Excellence (Playa Mujeres, Riviera Cancún), Le Blanc, TRS Hotels and Hyatt Zilara all run 18+ properties with à-la-carte dining included.

Indian Ocean — Mauritius, Seychelles

Mauritius and the Seychelles both have a growing adults-only category. LUX*, Heritage Awali, Constance Belle Mare Plage (adults wing) and the smaller Seychelles properties suit couples and honeymoons. See live Mauritius offers.

Good to know

FAQ

Quick answers to the questions we hear most often about all-inclusive holidays.

What does all-inclusive actually include?

Typically all meals, snacks, soft drinks, alcoholic drinks at the bar, kids' clubs and most non-motorised watersports. Premium spirits, à la carte restaurants and spa treatments are usually extra. Every resort is different — your Travel Designer will confirm exactly what's included before you book.

Will I save money vs a B&B deal?

Almost always, if you'd normally eat out and drink at the bar. A family of four eating three meals out plus drinks easily spends £400–£600 per day in the Caribbean — all-inclusive folds that into the headline price.

Which destinations work best for all-inclusive?

The Caribbean (Antigua, Barbados, St Lucia), the Indian Ocean (Maldives, Mauritius), Mexico (Riviera Maya, Cancún) and increasingly the Mediterranean (Greece, Türkiye). The best-quality all-inclusive properties cluster in these regions.

Are drinks really unlimited?

Yes — at bar level. Premium brand spirits, champagne and fine wines are typically charged separately. The headline brands at the main bars are unlimited.

Are there adults-only all-inclusive resorts?

Yes — adults-only all-inclusive is one of the fastest-growing categories, particularly in the Caribbean, the Maldives and Mexico's Riviera Maya. Sandals and Couples (Caribbean), the majority of Maldives resorts, and Excellence, Le Blanc and TRS Hotels (Mexico) are all 18+ only. We can filter live availability to adults-only properties on request — just say so at enquiry.

Which all-inclusive resorts work for families with young kids?

Family all-inclusive is a category of its own — proper kids' clubs, interconnecting rooms, family pools and staff trained for under-fives. Beaches Resorts (Caribbean), Constance Halaveli (Maldives) and Iberostar Selection properties (Mexico, Morocco) consistently lead. Crete, Mallorca and Cyprus are the strongest short-flight options when travelling with under-fives.

What does "premium all-inclusive" actually mean?

Premium or luxury all-inclusive folds in things a standard package leaves out: à la carte fine dining at no surcharge, premium-brand spirits, in-room minibar, butler service at top room categories, and sometimes excursions or spa credits. Pricing reflects this — premium all-inclusive typically starts around 30–40% above a standard package at the same destination.
