The Best of the Best in Havana! I had the good fortune of going to Cuba with a group to learn about their Botanical Gardens and farms. The Travelisto team did a great job organising this. Staying at the Melia Cohiba as our hub was a wonderful experience of it's own. The rooms were beautiful, clean, and well supplied with every item a traveler could want. The bed and linens were luxurious, the view of the Malecon were outstanding, and the restaurants were delightful. Our favorite was the Restaurante Med.

The last days in paradise! My girlfriend and me stayed at Royalton Hicacos just a few days before all the tourists gone because the covid19's pandemic. I have not enough words to thanks the way all the staff and managers managed the situation. For sure we will come back when this awful bad dream will be over

Love the Royalton Hicacos! This was our second visit to this resort. Check in was relaxed and hassle free. Staff made us feel like family. We especially enjoyed the girls at the swim up bar and those in the main bar. Rooms need some updating but everything else was wonderful. We will definitely go back

Great Holiday! 11 nights at the RHV Resort and Spa in early March. Staff throughout really welcoming, friendly and pleasant, in particular the guys and girls in the bar whether for our morning coffee, noon and night for the odd cocktail or three! Restaurants, we tried them all over the stay, although once the virus situation kicked in later in our stay, they were being closed as the residents returned home. Italian and Pearl we the better ones overall of the bunch we thought. Main restaurant the usual all inc buffet type but plenty of choices.

Best Vacation!! We were hesitant to visit Cuba, however after our stay at the Royalton we cannot imagine visiting anywhere else in the Caribbean. We have been on many all-inclusives vacations (Mexico, Jamaica, Costa Rica) and nothing compares to the hospitality in Cuba. The Royalton exceeded are expectations, no complaints about the food, the drinks were very good, and the coffee amazing! Angel our butler went above and beyond to make our trip very special. Big shout out to him and Annie at the front desk. We will definitely be returning!

Wonderful hotel! Kempinski in Cuba. Amazing hotel! Great wifi a rare thing to find in beautiful Havana but you do not come here for that! Great location and an amazing staff always ready to help! Amazing location close to everything you need when it comes to the old city and the port

Travel in Style in Havana! Gran Manzana Kempinski. It is an expensive hotel but it is the hotel you would want to be if travel in style is what you have in mind. It is centrally located, with walking distance to both Old Havana and Central Havana. Services are good. I booked an early morning tour on one of the days, they actually offered me in-room dining for breakfast as the restaurant was not open yet. Having a mojito at its rooftop poolside bar during sunset was certainly a one-of-a-life-time experience. Not too many options for breakfast and the lobby looks a bit simple comparing to the rest of the hotel, free wifi definitely made it all up (although you do need to type an extremely complicated password every time you got logged out). In short, it is definitely one of the very best hotels in Havana

Nice and Modern Melia Internacional hotel. Great stay during the last week in January. Weather was on the cool side. Food was okay, a little repetitive at the buffets. Staff were great , eager to please. Hotel was walkable to Varadero. Rooms were nice and clean with all modern amenities. Beach was beautiful

Perfect Vacation! We travelled as a family of 4 from March 11-18, 2020. This was our first time in Cuba so I don’t really have anything to compare it with. The hotel was fantastic it is a beautiful resort very clean and very modern rooms are spacious our room was cleaned daily and our mini fridge restocked. The beach is absolutely gorgeous. They were plenty of sunshades and chairs, Bluewater white sand. There was a lot of entertainment throughout the hotel and a lot of music and live performances which were very good.
The hotel staff were very pleasant nice smiling happy the hotel was very clean we were there during the start of the Covid pandemic and hand sanitizer was offers at every restaurant every washroom and I seen staff continually disinfecting tables and door handles I felt very safe at this hotel and it’s not too far from the airport and pretty close to the town of Varadero

There's a fair bit of history and nostalgia in this famous Havana landmark.
This is an iconic Havana location, and not to be missed. There’s no problem about non-guests visiting, and you’ll probably want to stay for a drink anyway. It’s great to sit above the Malecon with a cocktail, which will cost little more than you’ll normally pay elsewhere in Havana. As well as taking in the views, take a chance to see the huge gun emplacements, with guns manufactured by Krupp’s still in situ.
Inside the hotel be sure to visit the area dedicated to the numerous famous guests who have stayed at the hotel, including Frank Sinatra and Ava Gardner. This room also includes statues of Compay Segundo and Nat King Cole.

We have zero complaints about this hotel - Hotel Nacional de Cuba. Yes it is old, but there is a ton of history there. Our room was very comfortable and had everything we needed. Breakfast was phenomenal. Wait staff was attentive. Concierge was super helpful and called local restaurants to make reservations for us. Cigar shop was amazing. Mariela was our maid while we were there and she was so sweet and friendly and did a great job making sure our room looked great when we returned each evening. I highly recommend this hotel

Exciting trip to Havana: Beautiful luxury hotel in the heart of Havana! We stayed on the 8th floor overlooking the gardens and the ocean. Breakfast buffet was lovely and the staff was very attentive. Hotel could do with a bit of an update but perhaps in Cuba you expect that old-style touch. Cannot wait to go back again!

Lovely hotel in old city: The hotel is nice. It's old but well-kept and clean. Each floor is a little different. We stayed in two different rooms (one at the beginning and one at the end of our Cuba trip). A/C worked well, plenty of room, nice bathrooms. Staff was always ready to help. The pool was nice. The restaurant for breakfast buffet had lots of options including filtered water.

The hotel itself is all very clean, tidy and every member of staff is professional and friendly. The concierge desk was very accommodating! Our room was beautiful with a nice balcony view. There are a number of restaurants in the hotel. We had breakfast booked which was a great buffet with everything you could ask for and we ate one night in the Mediterranean restaurant in the modern hotel (amazing paella!). The hotel also organise evening entertainment and we went up one night to see the most amazing interactive salsa show on the roof, a big thank you to the salsa group for a great night.

The resort in Varadero is beautiful! It was an absolute pleasure to stay here with everything being pristine and a nice environment to stay in. What made this place so special though (besides a beach that’s out of this world) were the staff. We felt welcomed and appreciated, they were all polite and kind especially the members of staff at the Buffet! Yara and her friend/colleague made my birthday very special as we were over this for this!
Evening entertainment was great too with a lot of thought and time gone into it! Great for sitting outside watching with a cigar in one hand and a glass of rum in the other! Varadero is a very different scene to the rest of Cuba but is great if you want some relaxation after the beautiful chaos of Havana! Would recommend this hotel to anyone

Great resort but a bit Quiet! I really loved the staff at this resort. They were all very attentive and helpful. Adrian was a great server and we loved talking to him. He went above and beyond for us and even gave us his personal lighter because the resort sells cigarettes and cigars but don't sell lighters so he was great for helping us. The food was good, but they had alot of the same stuff at the buffet. I didn't have high expectations because Cuba is known to have okay food compared to other resort destinations. This resort had one of the most beautiful beaches I've ever seen.

Stayed here as part of an escorted trip and was delighted at the central location. The Revolution Museum is virtually just around the corner and the Capitol a few minutes past the plaza outside. I also was able to walk to the Cathedral in the old town in 10 minutes and to the excellent San Jose Artisans Market in around 15 minutes (a souvenir hunter's dream!).
The hotel itself is very well maintained, rooms are spacious with all required facilities, the breakfast buffet has a great choice, the rooftop views are superb and the concierge very helpful indeed.
We stayed in the old colonial part on arrival and then the modern building when we had an overnight at the end of our tour, and I can say that both parts were 5-star
JW Alex
What a GREAT place to stay! You are in the heart of the old city. Easy walking to many of the scenic squares or plazas. The actual Park is just across the street, and all the typcail tourist attractions and ammenities are right there. By that I mean horse-drawn carriages, old car taxi's, foot tours, and so on. Our advisor at Travelisto was right about everything advice regarding this hotel.
And the hotel Parque Central itself is FANTASTIC! They placed us in the new tower, and the room was wonderful . There are breakfast buffets on the ground floor of both buildings, and the food was amazing, especially for Cuban buffets. The roof tops had views that were superb. We were invited to a rooftop party Tuesday night, and I could see on the event board that these parties are twice a week, Tuesdays and Saturdays. The music was great, the dancing was fun, and there was lots of energy.
I'd certainly be happy to return to this hotel, and wholeheartedly recommend it to you.

Stay at Iberostar Selection Varadero and Parque Central– Recently stayed at the Iberostar Selection for the second time in two years as part of a tailormade package. Again, a memorable experience. Excellent food and entertainment, exceptionally attentive staff at all levels. Our visit took place just before the COVID-19 global pandemic. Hotel authorities were aware and taking precautions. We will be back once all this is over.

Ibizas luxury retreat- close to the party strip. It was the right choice, thanks Travelisto! Staff are very friendly and welcoming. We checked in late and still was able to upgrade to a aparment suite with a big balcony. The facility's are great, pool area with access to a private beach away from the busy party strip, but still very close to the action if you wanted to go there. Views were amazing, food was really good and you should visit the spa. Danny L

Everything was awesome. The apartment was really good, all new and clean. The bed was one of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept... No wonder I overslept every morning! We were so unlucky with weather so had to stay a lot indoors but I was very glad having reserved in AXEL and Travelisto's advice was priceless. It may be the best place in all the Island.

At breakfast there was not as much variety as some other hotels of the same rank, but the cooed breakfast was fresh and hot Very elegant in the main areas. Good quality toiletries. Hotel coped as well as possible during the Calima with all the dust. the room service meal was very good. Disliked. Wifi was very erratic. Pippa

Very friendly and quick service throughout our stay - immediately felt right at home! The rooms are fantastic and very comfortable, and the facilities are superb and in great condition. The lagoon pool is idyllic and spacious - it feels like.your own saltwater paradise to float around in.
The breakfast is huge and all of the options (hot and cold food, wide variety of drinks) are delicious. Great start to the day.
For the price, this is a fantastic resort, and we will definitely return!

SUPERB! Stunning resort from the lounge areas so spacious and beautifully decorated, restaurants were in beautiful settings and the food was amazing and so varied with on the spot grills, cartoon pancakes, the lot! terraces have a beautiful view. Several pools from babies to children to adults (one of the most stunning pools I have seen), bedrooms were spacious and well decorated and kids entertainment and entertainers were super fun - bouncy castle!!! staff. very present. very friendly. most speak good English. hard working even in very early hours and in very hot weather. hope they are well paid they deserve it. especially during the electricity cut who lasted almost a day they kept smiling and I think had to work even harder to get the guests dinner ready as if nothing has happened. Im very impressed! Patrick F.

We were affected badly by the covid pandemic while travelling. Travelisto managed the situation with an amazing blend of compassion and professionalism (including having to change our flights twice before we were eventually allowed to depart). We felt that we were in safe and competent hands and that did a great deal to help us. We were also impressed by the contact that we had after we returned.
The local agents, and guides (Vic, Viet and Van) from Vido Tours were great too and very supportive.
We've travelled often but we were impressed by their knowledgeable help when planning a trip and the quality of the holiday that we've had. And we hope, when everything has settled, with an future trip already booked (fingers crossed) that we will enjoy that Travelisto magic again! Emily C.

Very good stay. In general this was a very nice week. Even though I am expecting a Suite upgrade as a Titanium Member I understand that this is not possible when the hotel is fully booked.
The food was outstanding.
The pool and the beach very good.
I strongly can recommend this hotel.

I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights on full board with my husband.
It is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in.
The staff in every department were excellent, so friendly and polite.
The food was in every restaurant was Michelin star worthy
The setting of the hotel was magical, the pools, the spa all stunningly.
The way you were transported throughout the site by golf buggy or little train was magical.
We went for two nights and ended booking a third night as we were so overwhelmed by it.
If you need a peaceful break with fabulous food, caring staff, and stunning views you must go to the Abama. Caroline 'Abama" Cleck

Our New Zealand adventure was outstanding. From the time we landed in New Zealand until we stepped back through the aircraft door to depart your great country our trip was picture perfect. We could not be more pleased with our accommodations and the excellent itinerary you arranged. The charms of New Zealand obviously played a big part in ensuring our enjoyment. However, the professionalism exhibited by your firm was outstanding and beyond our expectation. We really appreciate your willingness to help plan and execute our vacation was greatly appreciated. We have already recommended you and Travelisto to many of our friends and acquaintances. I am sure that once this virus issue has passed many of them will be in contact with you to schedule their personalized adventure. Thanks again Laura, You’re the Best “Mate”! John & Cindy H.

The trip you organised for us was fantastic - we just loved every minute touring New Zealand. All the arrangements you made together with the other recommendations in our planned itinerary worked perfectly for us. We used the app every day and tried to follow the driving directions but we kept making little detours and found lots of other interesting places en route, too many to mention! A 14-day adventure and we have barely scratched the surface of such a beautiful country. Hopefully, we'll be back to pick up where we've left off but meantime, thank you. Geoff & Deborah

We started planning a cooking trip to Vietnam almost a year ago. We received incredible helpful - and patience - in making sure it included all the things we wanted to do.
When we left on 5th March, there was a possibility our itinerary would be disrupted if there was a new Covid-19 outbreak in Vietnam or the situation worsened in Europe but we didn't expect both.
As recent reviews highlight, when the FCO advice changed and we had to come back, Travelisto and their team swung into action and dealt with the logistics seamlessly. It was easy to forget they were dealing with hundreds of clients in different time zones as well as airlines suddenly cancelling flights.
If we'd been travelling independently, it would have been a stressful experience but we were able to enjoy Hue and Saigon knowing that Travelisto and their local ground agents would get us home somehow.
Thank you - and also to the excellent local guides who did everything possible to minimise the disruption. Even though I could not enjoy it fully, but they earned a 5 star review for their service. Jane R.

Like many others we were clients of Travelisto on holiday in Vietnam in March. We had 4 wonderful days in Hanoi, Lan Ha Bay and then Hoi An (we can strongly recommend the half day rice planting experience organised by them - informative and hilarious as we were helplessly put through our paces by Binh, the ever patient water buffalo). We were just about to depart for our cookery morning - when the phone rang - to say that as someone on our flight had tested positive for Covid-19, we had to stay in isolation from then on.
And so we did - the hotel staff were fantastic but it was a very uncertain time with information about the situation changing every half day (or more frequently).
The staff at Travelisto and their whole overseas partners swiftly assembled Corona virus emergency team - were so impressive. Joacy

I wanted a unique experience, something exclusive and private and my partner wanted to be close to culture, but with some beach time. I was so excited when the team at Travelisto found an ideal location and put together a fantastic itinerary that gave us both what we wanted. I am now planning my 2nd trip with you guys, you have lifelong clients! Thank you. Anna and Emma

We booked our honeymoon in Maldives through Travelisto and everything went without a glitch. Everything was done as promised, great customer service, contactable easily and everything sorted quickly. We loved the screen-sharing so we could really follow along the explanation of the various options for our itinerary, and again just before departure so we properly understood what to expect. Thank you for a great holiday in paradise! Gisele & Simon

We just wanted to thank you very must for your help and organisation of our holiday. Our guide was Mike, he said he know you well. We found him excellent. The tour company in Mauritius was very attentive and meet and guided us through to check in and departures. We had a fantastic time in Madagascar and a very special stay in Mauritius.

We just wanted to say a big thank you for organising our wonderful honeymoon in Mauritius. We had the most amazing time (and wish we were still there!) Both hotels were beautiful and great picks - 20 Degres Sud was a lovely, relaxed start to the holiday with amazing service and a nice, chilled vibe. And LUX Belle Mare was just spectacular - outstanding service, incredible facilities and absolutely delicious food!! We were delighted also that the hotels were Mauritian owned companies, so thank you for that.
The local guide who looked after us on the ground were brilliant too, keeping us organised with our tours and pick-up times, etc.!
All in all, we had the most fabulous experience, completely stress-free from start to finish, so thanks again for everything. We will definitely recommend Travelisto to friends and family, and look forward to hopefully booking travel with you again in future!
Kind regards,
Margaret and Julian

My partner and I had the pleasure of planning our much-anticipated holiday trip to Mauritius. This was the first long-haul trip that we've travelled on together and our Travelisto agent made the planning process seamless and enjoyable. Every step of the way she was quick to respond and provided a curated, tailored itinerary fit for both of us. We felt listened to, really listened to all of our needs and helped guide us to what ultimately became a trip of a lifetime. On our next big trip we will surely use Travelisto and ask for May specifically Thank you so much!

Let me start by saying I was very hesitant using a service where I could not be face to face with the individual assisting me with my travel arrangements. Travelisto was outstanding!! My Travel Designer was informative, attentive and really listened to what I wanted. I appreciated all his feedback and the accommodations were spectacular. I have never had so many people comment on my social media posts wanting to know where I was staying.I can honestly say, that going forward, I will not travel again without Travelisto’s expert help.

The itinerary was action packed- Christ the Redeemer, Iguasu Falls and Macchu Pichu being the highlights. The power boat ride at the falls, the visit to the Gauchos and authentic Peru were all amazing, unique experiences.
Sam
Great overview of 3 South American countries, visit major sites such as Machu Picchu, Iguassu Falls and Christ the Redeemer. Fabulous hotels and side trips. Be prepared for a lot of travel time.
Rossie
Good amount of time in each location, compared to other tours I have done there was more free time in this tour which was appreciated so could do your own thing

Everything with the itinerary was straightened out and we had a very special time in The Galapagos! Every guide assigned to us was intelligent, engaging, & personable. The hotel was quite comfortable, well located to the town, and the people were accommodating. Highly recommend it

It really was the trip of a lifetime. Excellent guides, exciting optional and included tours, knowledgeable and friendly guides.

We were both really happy that we chose the itinerary we did. From the short stop at the Southern Sun in Dar, to the excellent safari camps in Selous (Beho Beho) and Ruaha (Ikuka) we had a brilliant time. We could not recommend these places highly enough. This was a great time to visit - there was some rain but it did not detract from the experience and it was uncrowded. Kellyanne and Jake

Overall, this trip has a very good itinerary, well informed and influential guides in Ajloun Castle and Petra, was well supported by an invaluable guide and was great value for money. We had a great time and we are influenced to travel Travelisto again. We just have to find the right itinerary - off the everyday beaten track.

One of the best tours I have been on I completed the Wonders of Jordan trip in November/December. To say this trip is fantastic is an understatement! Our guide Zaid is one of the most passionate and dedicated tour guides I have ever been with. The things we saw, experienced and went were truely amazing. If you want to see the real Jordan you have to do this trip!
