How to choose

Costa Adeje: the most upmarket area, with luxury hotels, good beaches and restaurants. Los Cristianos: a former fishing town with a promenade and harbour, easy and walkable. Playa de las Américas: nightlife. The west coast (Guía de Isora, Los Gigantes): quieter, with sunsets and dramatic cliffs. Puerto de la Cruz: the traditional north, with gardens, Loro Parque and a more Canarian feel, but more cloud.
