Overview

A gleaming, all-white icon above La Caleta, Royal Hideaway Corales Beach is the adults-only wing of one of Tenerife’s most design-led resorts. Inspired by the island’s coral reefs, its sculpted architecture, glass-fronted terraces and ocean-facing junior suites feel more like a contemporary art gallery than a hotel. Rooftop saltwater infinity pools blur into the Atlantic, while two Michelin-starred restaurants reimagine local flavours high above the Costa Adeje shoreline.

Think rooftop pools that seem to spill straight into the Atlantic, sculptural coral-inspired architecture and every junior suite gazing out across the ocean. Royal Hideaway Corales Beach is tailor-made for adults who love bold design and fine food, with two Michelin-starred restaurants, a serene spa and Costa Adeje’s volcanic coastline at your feet. For couples seeking Canary Islands sunshine with a sophisticated edge, Royal Hideaway Corales Beach delivers a grown-up take on Costa Adeje – all sea views, rooftop pools and Michelin-starred dining. It’s roughly 30 minutes from Tenerife South (TFS) and moments from the seafront promenade in laid-back La Caleta. See more Canary Islands holidays.

Facilities

Pool & outdoors

There are two serene outdoor saltwater pools for guests of the adults-only wing. One is a ground-level heated saltwater pool with ample loungers and parasols, perfect for lazy mornings. The showstopper, however, is the rooftop saltwater infinity pool, also heated, where the water appears to meet the Atlantic and sunsets are spectacular. Complimentary pool towels are provided and facilities may vary by season. A short walk takes you down to La Enramada beach – a natural, darker-sand stretch typical of Tenerife’s volcanic coast, with the seafront promenade continuing towards Costa Adeje’s livelier beaches.

Food & drink

Dining is a highlight here, with inventive tasting menus and ocean views to match. El Rincón De Juan Carlos (Michelin-starred) serves avant-garde dishes rooted in Canarian produce from a rooftop setting, while San Hô (also Michelin-starred) brings Nikkei fusion – Japanese techniques with Peruvian flair. Nao Atlantic Food Experience is the main buffet restaurant, offering show-cooking breakfasts and dinners plus occasional snacks, with a focus on fresh Atlantic flavours. Up on the roof, Maresía Atlantic Bar pours signature cocktails by the infinity pool. A smart dress code applies (no beachwear; long trousers requested for gentlemen in the evening), and reservations and supplements may apply depending on your board basis. FAQs

Is Royal Hideaway Corales Beach suitable for couples looking for a quiet break?
Yes. Royal Hideaway Corales Beach is an adults-only property with a minimum age of 16, a calm pool scene and refined evening atmosphere, so it suits couples and friends seeking a relaxing, upscale escape rather than a party hotel.
How far is Royal Hideaway Corales Beach from the nearest beach?
The hotel sits a short walk (around 200 metres) from La Enramada beach in La Caleta. Simply head down towards the seafront promenade to reach the dark-sand bay and connect to other Costa Adeje beaches.
What board options can I book and what does Half Board usually include?
You can book Bed & Breakfast or Half Board. Half Board typically covers buffet-style breakfast and dinner in the main restaurant (Nao Atlantic Food Experience). Drinks, snacks and meals in the Michelin-starred à la carte restaurants are usually at an extra cost and may need reservations.
Do I need to dress up for dinner at the hotel restaurants?
A smart-casual dress code applies in the restaurants, particularly in the evening and in the Michelin-starred venues. Beachwear is not permitted and the hotel requests that gentlemen wear long trousers for dinner. It’s a good idea to pack at least one smarter outfit if you plan to dine in El Rincón De Juan Carlos or San Hô.
Does Royal Hideaway Corales Beach have spa and wellness facilities?
Yes. Wellness Corales offers a spa circuit with sauna, steam room, Turkish bath and whirlpool, alongside a full menu of massages and beauty treatments, plus a hairdresser. All spa services are payable locally and reservations are recommended, especially in peak season.
Is the hotel hilly or suitable for guests with reduced mobility?
The hotel itself is served by lifts and has step-free areas, but the surrounding La Caleta area is gently sloping in places. Mobility scooters and wheelchairs can be hired via reception (charges apply). If you have specific accessibility needs, speak to our Travelisto team so we can check the most up-to-date details for your stay.
How long is the transfer from Tenerife South Airport and can I arrange private transfers?
The journey from Tenerife South Airport (TFS) to Royal Hideaway Corales Beach takes around 30 minutes under normal traffic conditions. When you book with Travelisto, we can arrange shared or private transfers as part of your package.
Is Royal Hideaway Corales Beach a sustainable hotel?
Yes. It is labelled as a Certified Sustainable Hotel, meaning it has been independently assessed against a GSTC-recognised sustainability standard. This typically covers areas such as energy and water use, waste reduction and support for the local community.
