Guia De Isora, Tenerife, Canary Islands, Spain
On Tenerife’s rugged west coast, Gran Melia Palacio De Isora sits between banana plantations and the Atlantic, in the peaceful Guia De Isora area. A seafront promenade runs directly in front of the hotel, perfect for sunset walks and ocean views towards La Gomera.
Nearby you’ll find a sprinkling of bars, restaurants and shops, while the livelier Playa De La Arena and Playa San Juan are a short taxi ride away. The dramatic backdrop of mountains and volcanic coastline makes this a superb base for exploring Teide National Park, boat trips and whale-watching excursions.

Facilities
Pool & outdoors
The resort is built around its spectacular water areas, headlined by the signature infinity pool that seems to pour into the ocean.
Pools
• 4 outdoor pools including:
– Vast saltwater infinity pool with whirlpool sections, sunbeds, hammocks, Balinese and swing beds (Bali beds at extra charge).
– Heated adults-only freshwater pool with its own calm sunbathing area, hammocks and parasols.

• Colourful splash park with tipping bucket, sprinklers, water cannons and more (typically 10:00–18:00; age/height restrictions may apply).
• Complimentary pool towels for guests.
The hotel fronts a rocky shoreline and promenade rather than a classic sandy beach immediately in front, but you’re close to several small volcanic and golden-sand beaches at Playa De La Arena and Playa San Juan, easily reached by short taxi rides or local transport.
