When to go to Corfu

The season runs from May to October. Corfu is greener than the Aegean islands because it gets more rain in winter and spring, so May and June are lush and warm. July and August are hot, typically around 30°C.

Getting there and getting around

Direct flights take about three and a quarter hours. The airport is right next to Corfu Town, so transfers to Kommeno, Dassia and Gouvia are short; the far north and south take up to two hours. Boat trips to Paxos and Antipaxos are popular days out.
