Sandy Beach Resort stretches out along the sands of Agios Georgios (St George South), on Corfu’s tranquil south-west coast. This is the place for low-key days: a sweeping bay of soft sand and clear turquoise water backed by greenery and a handful of beach bars.

Step outside the hotel and you’re just a short stroll from the resort’s small centre, where you’ll find tavernas, cafés, mini-markets and a few friendly bars. The surrounding countryside is all rolling hills and olive groves, ideal for gentle walks or bike rides between beach sessions.

All Inclusive at Sandy Beach Resort is built around choice. At the heart of the hotel is the ‘Elia’ main buffet restaurant, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner with show-cooking stations, kids’ buffet area, microwaves and highchairs. Expect a mix of international favourites and Greek classics.

On the beachfront, Ammos à la carte pairs Corfiot and wider Greek dishes with sea views, while Il Gusto focuses on crowd-pleasing Italian for dinner. During the day, Ammos Snack Restaurant and the handy Snack Corner keep everyone fuelled with lighter bites and casual buffet options by the beach or pool.

Seven bars are scattered around the grounds, covering everything from coffee and cocktails at Aperitivo Bar and Muses Lobby Bar to lazy drinks by the water at Aqua Pool Bar, Kyma Beach Bar, Mare Pool Bar and Navio Pool Bar. There’s even a dedicated Gelateria (chargeable) for proper holiday ice creams.

Water babies are well looked after here. There are four outdoor freshwater pools, including an adult-only pool with a quieter vibe, a main activity pool, a more chilled secondary pool and a children’s pool with shallow sections. Spacious sunbathing terraces are lined with sunbeds and parasols, and pool towels are provided free of charge.

The aqua park is a highlight for families, with slides and water features aimed mainly at children (age, height or weight restrictions may apply). It’s all just steps from the soft sandy beach, where the gently shelving shoreline is perfect for paddling.
