Map & location
Playa De Las Americas, Tenerife, Canary Islands, Spain
H10 Las Palmeras enjoys a prime position in Playa De Las Americas, Tenerife’s liveliest resort. A garden gate opens directly onto the seafront promenade, so you can stroll along the coast towards neighbouring beaches, bars and cafés without crossing busy roads. The immediate area is packed with shops, eateries and nightlife, yet the hotel’s palm-filled grounds create a relaxed, almost park-like feel once you step inside. Siam Park and the golf courses of the south coast are a short taxi ride away, making this an easy base for both beach and days out.
- Approx. transfer time from airport 20 minutes (Tenerife South – TFS)
Facilities
Pool & outdoors
There are three outdoor freshwater pools set among palms and sun terraces, including:
– A main lagoon-style pool with plenty of sunbeds and parasols
– A second pool, heated in the cooler months (typically November–April)
– A heated children’s pool with its own sunbathing area
Pool towels are available with a refundable deposit, and there’s a Privilege terrace with whirlpool and upgraded sunbeds for Privilege room guests.
While the hotel isn’t directly “on” the sand, you can follow the seafront promenade to reach the beach in around 10 minutes on foot, with more bays and coves accessible further along the coast if you fancy a longer stroll or a short taxi ride.
Spa, sports & wellness
Stay active in the air-conditioned gym (16+, with cardio and strength equipment; usual opening 08:00–20:00) or join low-key games such as darts and petanque. The entertainment team runs daily activities, including small team games, sports and water-based fun, so there’s usually something going on around the pool.
In the evenings, expect a mix of live music, DJ sets and professional shows across the season.
Practical touches include:
– 24-hour reception and concierge
– Currency exchange and luggage storage
– Equipment hire (such as kettles, fans, pushchairs and mobility scooters – charges may apply)
– Motorised scooter charging point
Spa and beauty services aren’t listed as a full spa complex here, but massages and treatments may be available locally in Playa De Las Americas if you’d like a full wellness day.
