Map & location

Orosei, Sardinia, Italy

Sentido Orosei Beach sits on Sardinia’s spectacular east coast, just behind the golden sweep of Spiaggia di Marina di Orosei. The setting is wonderfully tranquil: lagoons and greenery on one side, the Tyrrhenian Sea on the other, with Orosei’s old town a short drive away for cobbled lanes, medieval churches and classic trattorie.

The hotel is part of the wider Marina Resort area, on the peaceful side of the complex, so you get a relaxed base while still being close to shared facilities and entertainment at the neighbouring Marina Beach. It’s ideal if you want easy beach days, coastal walks and boat trips to the coves north and south of Orosei.

Facilities

Pool & outdoors

Days here naturally revolve around the expansive pool and the beach just beyond it. The main outdoor freshwater pool has plenty of space for swimming and lounging, with an integrated children’s section so younger guests can splash safely nearby. Sunbeds and parasols line the generous sunbathing areas, and inflatables are typically permitted, which keeps families happy.

Pool towels are free to use, with two complimentary towel changes per week (extra swaps are available for a small local charge).

Stroll a few minutes along a tree-lined path and you reach the sandy shore of Marina di Orosei. Sentido Orosei Beach has its own private section here, exclusive to hotel guests. Each room usually includes a complimentary parasol and two sunbeds from the third row back, with the first and second rows available at an additional local charge. It’s ideal for long, lazy beach days without having to worry about reserving space.

Spa, sports & wellness

While there’s no dedicated spa in the hotel, active guests are well catered for with simple but effective sports options. Football and tennis are available on site, and you can mix in walks along the coastline or head inland to explore the Orosei hinterland and nature reserves.

FAQs

Is Sentido Orosei Beach right for families?
Yes. Sentido Orosei Beach is well suited to families who want a quieter Sardinian base with facilities on hand. There’s a children’s section in the main pool and access to a children’s club (4–17yrs), playground and indoor play area at the neighbouring Marina Beach hotel. Family rooms such as Classic Quadruple and Triple options give you extra space, and the beach is a short, easy walk away.
How does the private beach section work?
The hotel has a reserved section of the sandy beach exclusive to its guests. Typically, each room receives one parasol and two sunbeds free of charge from the third row back. If you’d like to sit in the first or second row, there is usually a small local supplement, and this is subject to availability and weather conditions.
Can guests at Sentido Orosei Beach use the facilities at Marina Beach?
Many entertainment activities and children’s facilities are shared across the wider Marina Resort, and evening shows now often take place at Club Hotel Marina Beach next door. However, the All Inclusive package for food and drink applies to Sentido Orosei Beach itself and does not normally cover bars and restaurants at Marina Beach. Always check on arrival for the latest inclusions and access rules.
What is the dress code in the restaurant?
The main restaurant is relaxed but generally asks that guests do not wear beachwear during meals. That typically means covering swimwear and avoiding going barefoot inside. Smart-casual is a good guideline in the evenings, especially if you enjoy lingering over dinner.
Are there vegetarian or special dietary options available?
Buffet restaurants in Sardinia generally offer a selection of salads, vegetable dishes, pasta and sides that work well for vegetarians, and the hotel can often help with simple dietary requirements such as gluten-free options when notified in advance. Choice may be more limited for specialist diets, so we recommend highlighting any needs at the time of booking and speaking with the restaurant team on arrival.
Is there Wi‑Fi at Sentido Orosei Beach?
Yes. Free Wi‑Fi is typically available throughout the hotel, including many public areas and guest rooms, so you can keep in touch with home or plan day trips during your stay.
What is the climate like in Orosei?
Sardinia enjoys a classic Mediterranean climate with warm, dry summers and mild springs and autumns. Beach weather usually runs from late May to early October, with July and August being the hottest, busiest months. If you prefer slightly cooler temperatures and quieter beaches, late May–June or September are excellent times to visit.
Do I need a car when staying at Sentido Orosei Beach?
A car isn’t essential if you plan to spend most of your time around the pool and beach, but hiring one for at least a few days is a great way to explore Sardinia’s east coast, visit coves around the Bidderosa Oasis and reach Orosei and other nearby villages at your own pace. Transfers from the airport are usually included in package holidays, so you can combine a transfer with a few days of car hire if you wish.
