Facilities
Pool & outdoors
Principe Hotel does not have a swimming pool, which is typical for historic Venetian palazzi right on the Grand Canal. Instead, the water is all around you: watch daily life unfold on the canal from the hotel’s terrace or step straight onto a gondola or vaporetto for a cruise through the city’s waterways.
For a beach day, you can hop on a vaporetto to the Lido, where long sandy shores and relaxed beach clubs await in season.
Spa, sports & wellness
This is very much a city base rather than a resort-style hotel, with facilities focused on comfort and convenience rather than sports or spa.
On-site you’ll find:
• Atmospheric lounges and salons with classic Venetian décor
• Canal-facing terrace for drinks and dining
• Private gondola dock (perfect for arrivals or sightseeing rides, charges apply through local operators)
• 24-hour reception and concierge for restaurant reservations, tours and tickets
• Luggage storage for early arrivals or late departures
The concierge can help arrange guided walking tours, gondola rides, island excursions or opera and concert tickets to make the most of your Venice stay.

Food & drink
Two very different dining experiences give you flexibility without leaving the hotel. Start each day at Sivoli Restaurant, where a generous buffet breakfast is served in a classic setting, fuelling you for a full day’s sightseeing.
In the evening, Mirai Restaurant adds a surprising twist to your Venice stay with refined Japanese à la carte dishes served on the terrace. Expect sushi, sashimi and contemporary plates with a Grand Canal backdrop.
The hotel bar pours Italian wines, spritzes and cocktails, and also serves light bites — ideal at aperitivo hour as gondolas drift past.
A smart casual dress code may apply in the restaurants. Reservations and supplements can vary depending on your board arrangement and season; full details are available from reception on arrival.
