Carved into a tranquil hillside above Lourdas, F Zeen Kefalonia is perfectly positioned for big sea views and easy beach access. Wander around 100m downhill to the long sweep of Lourdas Beach, a mix of fine shingle and sand with clear, calm water and a backdrop of Mount Ainos.

Small tavernas, laid-back bars and a handful of minimarkets sit around 300m away, while the wider south coast – including Skala and other pretty coves – is easily explored by hire car or taxi. Lourdas itself is low-key and spread out, ideal if you prefer nature, walking trails and sea air to full-on nightlife.
