Facilities
Pool & outdoors
Outdoors, you’ll find two freshwater pools: a generous main pool with whirlpool area and a separate children’s pool with slides and a shallow section that’s perfect for little paddlers. Sunbeds and parasols line the terraces, and pool towels are provided free of charge, which keeps luggage lighter.
There’s also a heated indoor pool with a children’s section, located within the spa area — ideal for cooler days at the start or end of the season.
Step beyond the pool terrace and you’re straight onto Obzor’s broad, sandy beach, which stretches for kilometres along the coast. It’s especially good for families, thanks to the soft sand and gentle shoreline, and for walkers who like a scenic morning or sunset stroll.

Food & drink
Dining is a real strong suit at Alua Helios Bay, especially for an All Inclusive beachfront hotel.
The main Terra Café buffet restaurant covers breakfast, lunch and dinner with show-cooking stations and a mix of international favourites and local Bulgarian dishes. Families are well looked after with highchairs, a microwave corner and plenty of choice.
At dinner, you can also make the most of the hotel’s two à la carte options:
Mare Nubium serves international and Bulgarian specialities with show-cooking in a more intimate setting, while Jojo offers Japanese-inspired cuisine in both buffet and à la carte formats. Both usually require reservations and smart-casual dress.
Daytimes centre around Kentia Pool Club, where you’ll find snacks and an alternative buffet lunch right by the water, ideal if you don’t want to stray far from your lounger.
When it comes to drinks, you’re spoilt for choice:
– Agua Bar (lobby)
– Fresco Pool Bar beside the main pool
– Marcel Karaoke Club (selected evenings)
– The Spot Night Club
– Vertigo Sky Bar for cocktails with elevated views
– My Favourite Club Lounge, exclusive to My Favourite Club guests, with self-service soft drinks, coffee, tea, fruit and snacks
Open times and availability vary by season and occupancy, and supplements or dress codes may apply, especially for specialty venues.
