Map & location
Spartia, Kefalonia, Greece
Tucked into the green hills above Spartia on Kefalonia’s peaceful south coast, Eliamos Villas Hotel & Spa feels blissfully secluded yet reassuringly close to the essentials. From the estate you can wander or cycle down to sheltered coves and the main Spartia Beach, where golden sand and calm shallows make swimming a pleasure.
Spartia itself is a traditional, slow-paced village of winding streets, whitewashed churches and family-run tavernas serving home-style Kefalonian dishes. It’s the sort of place where evenings are spent over long dinners, local wine and sunset strolls – a world away from busier island resorts, but still within easy reach of Argostoli town and the island’s famous beaches on a day trip.

- • Spartia resort centre (tavernas, bars, small shops) 1.4km
- • Argostoli (capital & harbour) 12–15km (short drive)

Facilities
Pool & outdoors
The heart of the estate is an elegant outdoor freshwater pool, framed by manicured gardens, fragrant planting and cushioned sunbeds with parasols. Pool towels are complimentary and the vibe stays blissfully calm throughout the day – perfect for a post-spa laze or an afternoon with a book.
Most villas and suites also include their own private swimming pool and sun terrace, giving you the option to switch between shared sociability and complete seclusion. Down the hill, Spartia Beach offers soft sand, shallow water and a relaxed beach café; a string of smaller coves nearby rewards those who like to explore on foot or by bike.
Spa, sports & wellness
Wellness is a real focus at Eliamos. The boutique spa offers massage and bespoke treatments (local charges apply) inspired by Greek botanicals – ideal after a day exploring Kefalonia’s rugged coastline. A compact but well-equipped gym with cardio machines and free weights is open roughly 07:00–19:00, and you can join Pilates or yoga sessions for an extra charge to stretch out tired travel muscles.
Active guests will appreciate the cycling facilities: hire a bike or e-bike and follow quiet country lanes between vineyards, olive groves and viewpoints. Occasional cooking classes (payable) are a lovely way to bring a taste of Kefalonia home, learning local recipes from the hotel’s chefs.
