Facilities
Pool & outdoors
With four pools and the Atlantic on your doorstep, you’re never far from the water here.
Outside, you’ll find three freshwater pools, including a separate children’s pool. Spacious sun terraces are set with sunbeds, Balinese beds and parasols, and inflatables are permitted in selected areas – ideal for younger guests. Two main outdoor pools operate seasonally, typically between early April and early November, depending on occupancy.
An indoor freshwater pool with whirlpool offers a calmer, all-weather option, heated between early April and early November – perfect for out-of-season swims or a relaxing dip after a round of golf.
Pool towels are provided with a refundable deposit, and from the gardens and pool area you can wander straight out to Playa La Barrosa, a broad, golden-sand beach backed by dunes and handy chiringuitos for drinks and tapas.
Spa, sports & wellness
Stay active or switch off completely – it’s all on-site.
The air-conditioned gym is equipped with cardio machines and a free weights area (minimum age 16, typically open 09:00–19:00 in season). Organised activities often include aqua aerobics, darts, pétanque, table tennis, volleyball and yoga, so there’s usually something going on if you like a bit of structure to your day.
At the spa, you can ease tired muscles in the sauna, Turkish bath and whirlpool or book in for a menu of massages and beauty treatments, all generally available for guests aged 16+ and at an extra charge.
For children, there are indoor and outdoor play areas, including an adventure-style playground, plus a well-run kids’ club and seasonal crèche (details in the Children’s Facilities section). A multi-lingual entertainment team keeps the schedule topped up with family activities, games and low-key competitions.
Reception can also help with concierge-style support, currency exchange (local charge), luggage storage and local information.

A quartet of à la carte venues adds variety: Mercado Del Sur showcases Spanish and regional dishes; Levante mixes Italian, Mexican and local bites on the terrace; Poniente keeps things Andalusian and seafood-forward at lunch; and Vava Beach Club sits right on the sand, pairing sea views with international, Spanish and local cuisine.
Seven bars are dotted around the grounds, including Bar Bahia for a classic lobby bar experience, Bar Jerez for lounge-bar cocktails, Café Sisal for coffees and daytime drinks, La Pergola and Teatro Plaza for garden and terrace cocktails, plus two pool bars for chilled drinks by the water.
