With five outdoor pools plus the Atlantic just moments away, you’re never far from the water.
• A series of outdoor freshwater pools loop through the gardens, many with integrated whirlpools, generous sunbathing terraces, loungers and parasols.
• A dedicated adults-only pool offers a quieter space for grown-up lounging.
• Younger guests can make a beeline for the children’s pool with slides, complete with sunbeds and parasols for parents.
• There’s also an indoor heated freshwater pool with whirlpool in the spa centre (typically heated 11 Jun–1 Nov), ideal for cooler days.
Pool towels are provided with a refundable deposit, and facilities may vary slightly by pool or season.
Step outside and you’re around 20m from Playa de la Barrosa via a public footpath: a wide, golden-sand beach perfect for long walks, sandcastle sessions and refreshing Atlantic dips. Local operators usually offer watersports in season, from paddleboarding to surfing, payable locally.
