Facilities
Pool & outdoors
There is no pool at The Inn at the Roman Forum – the focus here is on history, atmosphere and city exploring rather than resort-style facilities.
Instead, the hotel’s standout outdoor space is its rooftop terrace, a tranquil spot for a leisurely breakfast in the sun or an evening drink above the bustle of the streets below.
Spa, sports & wellness
As a compact boutique property, facilities are carefully curated rather than extensive. You’ll find:
• Atmospheric lounge spaces furnished with antiques and artwork
• Access to the hotel’s Roman cryptoportico – a remarkable series of ancient vaulted corridors beneath the building
• Concierge service to arrange restaurant reservations, tours and tickets for major attractions
• Luggage storage to maximise sightseeing time on arrival or departure days
• Lift serving the main floors
While there’s no on-site gym or spa, staff can usually recommend nearby wellness centres or arrange in-room treatments via trusted local partners on request (charges apply).

• Ask the concierge to arrange guided tours of the Vatican Museums, underground Rome or after-hours visits to key sites (local charges apply)

Food & drink
There’s no on-site restaurant as such – this is Rome, after all, and some of the city’s best trattorie and wine bars are on your doorstep – but the hotel focuses on a generous, high-quality breakfast and elegant drinks.
Expect a continental-style spread served in a characterful lounge or out on the terrace in good weather, with pastries, cured meats, cheeses and fresh fruit. Later in the day, the Rooftop Lounge Bar comes into its own, pouring aperitivi and after-dinner drinks from 4pm to 11pm in an adults-only setting, surrounded by Rome’s terracotta rooftops.
Please note: smart-casual dress may be requested, and reservations or supplements can depend on your board arrangement and season.
