You’ll be perfectly placed for day trips to Catania and baroque Syracuse, yet far enough from the bustle to enjoy star-filled skies and the gentle sound of waves at night. This is an excellent base for exploring eastern Sicily while having a fully-fledged resort to come back to.

• Large freshwater activity pool with slides and a children’s section – ideal for families, with plenty of sunbeds and parasols (typically open 1 Apr–9 Nov, weather dependent).
• Expansive saltwater pool with children’s section by the beach – for easy dips between sea and sunbed.
• Adults-only freshwater pool at the beach club – a quieter spot for couples and friends, with a more grown-up vibe and sea views.
Complimentary pool towels are provided, and facilities can vary by pool. All pools are normally open subject to weather conditions and seasonal schedules.

Mediterra Restaurant
The resort’s main hub, Mediterra serves breakfast, lunch and dinner with a mix of Italian and international dishes on the terrace. Think generous buffets, show-cooking and plenty of choice for both adults and children.
Donna Floriana
