Map & location
Letojanni, Sicily (Catania Airport), Italy
Letojanni sits on Sicily’s north-east coast just along from ultra-pretty Taormina, and Hotel Olimpo Le Terrazze makes the most of the setting. High on the hillside, it looks over a long sweep of pebbly sand framed by green slopes, yet you’re still close to the low-key resort centre with its trattorias, bars and gelaterias.
Stroll or take the hotel lift system down towards the promenade for a swim and a seafood lunch, then head back up to admire golden-hour views from the terraces. Taormina’s cobbled streets, ancient theatre and boutiques are just a short taxi or bus ride away, and Giardini Naxos is within easy reach for boat trips and beach days.

Facilities
Pool & outdoors
The main outdoor pool is a generous freshwater number with a designated children’s section, ideal for relaxed family days in the sun. A broad sunbathing terrace wraps around it with loungers and parasols, and the pool bar is just steps away for drinks and light bites (usually open 01 Apr–31 Oct, weather and occupancy dependent). Fresh pool towels are available, sometimes with a small local charge or deposit.
When the weather is cooler or you just fancy a quieter swim, there’s also an indoor freshwater pool within the spa area. It’s heated between roughly March and October, giving you a dependable spot to unwind whatever the forecast. On selected terraces you’ll also find whirlpools overlooking the bay, opened according to occupancy.
Down at sea level, Letojanni’s long, mainly pebble and shingle beach is about 400m away. Between mid-May and mid-September, your room typically comes with one parasol and two deck chairs on a designated stretch of beach, subject to availability and any local rules. The palm-lined promenade is perfect for swims, strolls and long Sicilian lunches by the water.
Spa, sports & wellness
Wellness is well covered at Hotel Olimpo Le Terrazze. The spa centre features a sauna, steam room and whirlpool, along with a menu of massage and beauty treatments, all for guests aged 18+ with local charges applying. It’s the ideal place to unwind after a day exploring Taormina or Mount Etna.
For more active moments, the air-conditioned gym offers cardio machines, free weights and fixed strength equipment (minimum age 18 years). Outside, the entertainment team runs a seasonal programme of light activities, small team games and water-based fun, with regular evening entertainment including live music across much of the season.
Families benefit from a children’s club (4–12 yrs) on selected dates, with arts and crafts, story time, sports, drama and games consoles typically operating from late morning to early evening, subject to occupancy.
Additional practicalities include a 24-hour-style reception area with luggage storage and general concierge support between the Olimpo and Le Terrazze buildings. As with any Mediterranean resort, some facilities are seasonal or weather-dependent and may operate at reduced hours at the start and end of the season.

Food & drink
You’ll have a choice of two main restaurants and two bars spread across the complex, with menus leaning into Sicilian flavours and classic Italian favourites.
Le Fontane is the buffet restaurant, open for breakfast, lunch and dinner with a generous spread of Italian and international dishes, show-cooking stations and plenty of options for families. Highchairs and a microwave station make life easier if you’re travelling with younger children.
For a more leisurely lunch with a view, Bouganville is the à la carte restaurant set out on the terrace, serving regional and local specialties on selected dates and subject to occupancy.
Drinks-wise, Bar Olimpo is the relaxed lounge bar for pre-dinner apéritivi or post-dinner digestivi, while the pool bar keeps you topped up with coffee, soft drinks and cocktails between dips (typically open April–October, depending on occupancy).
Smart casual dress codes, prior reservations and board-based supplements may apply, particularly for the à la carte; details are subject to seasonal change and will be confirmed locally. If you opt for All Inclusive, you’ll enjoy buffet meals plus selected drinks and snacks at set times – see what All Inclusive typically includes.
