Set on Kos’ quieter east coast, Blue Lagoon Ocean looks out over the Aegean just back from Ammos beach. The atmosphere in Psalidi is laid-back – more about sea breezes, scenic walks and watersports than late nights – but you’re only a short hop from the cafés, bars and harbourfront of Kos Town.
From here you can split your days between the hotel’s pool decks and the island’s highlights: boat trips from Kos Town, nearby Therma hot springs, or cycling along the coastal path that links Psalidi with the capital.

The heart of the hotel is a pair of generous outdoor freshwater pools bordered by palm trees, parasols and plenty of loungers. One pool features built‑in whirlpool sections for lazy soaks, and there’s a dedicated sunbathing terrace where you can spend whole days drifting between water and daybed. Fresh pool towels are included.
Inside the spa you’ll find a heated indoor freshwater pool with whirlpool (heated in May), ideal if you’re travelling at the start or end of the season.
Ammos beach is a short stroll away (about 350m), where you can relax on the sand and shingle or head out on the water. Independent operators along the shore offer canoeing, kayaking, pedalos and motorised watersports for an extra charge, making it just as easy to keep things calm or pick up the pace.

Wellness-wise, Blue Lagoon Ocean is well equipped for an adults-only hideaway. The air-conditioned gym comes with cardio machines, fixed‑weight equipment and free weights and is open daily in the main season. If you prefer group sessions, there are classes such as aerobics and aqua aerobics, plus basketball, table tennis, tennis and volleyball for more sociable workouts.
The spa features a sauna and steam room along with a menu of massages and beauty treatments (extra charges apply). It’s the kind of place where you can easily build a mini spa day around a treatment, a session in the heat facilities and time in the indoor pool.

The main buffet venues – Calypso and Poseidon – serve international and Greek dishes with show‑cooking stations. Expect generous spreads at breakfast, lunch and dinner, plus snacks between meals so you can graze by the pool.
In the evening, you can swap the buffet for Electra, the hotel’s à la carte restaurant (one visit per stay included on All Inclusive, with reservations required and some drinks payable).
