Map & location
Mastichari, Kos, Greece
Mastichari is one of Kos’ most traditionally Greek-feeling corners – think whitewashed houses with blue shutters, vines over doorways and a working harbour for day trips to Kalymnos. Ammos Luxury Resort sits just outside the village in a calm, beachfront spot backed by greenery, with the gently shelving sand and sea right in front and the island’s rugged interior framing the horizon behind.
You’re close enough to dip into the small selection of bars and tavernas in Mastichari, yet far enough away to enjoy quiet evenings on your balcony listening to the waves.

- Mastichari resort centre 2.4km
- bars and restaurants 2.7km
- Mastichari harbour (for Kalymnos ferries) short taxi ride
- Approx. transfer time from airport 30 minutes
Facilities
Pool & outdoors
The resort has a classic Greek-islands pool scene with the beach just a few steps beyond.
• Main outdoor pool – a freshwater pool with a separate children’s section, surrounded by sunbeds and parasols. Inflatables and water toys are permitted, keeping younger guests happy.
• Children’s pool – a dedicated outdoor kids’ pool with plenty of space around it for parents to relax close by.
• Pool towels – provided free of charge, so you can pack a little lighter.
Beyond the pool terrace you’ll find the beachfront, where the Aegean laps the sand and you can wander along the shore at sunset. Conditions are typically calm, making it appealing for paddling and relaxed swims.

Food & drink
Food at Ammos Luxury Resort leans into fresh Greek flavours and relaxed, seaside dining.
The Main Restaurant is a bright buffet space serving breakfast, lunch and dinner with both Mediterranean and international options, live cooking and a children’s menu plus highchairs. Expect a mix of classic Greek dishes, grills, salads and familiar favourites. Beachwear isn’t permitted at dinner.
Down by the shore, the Greek Outdoor Restaurant (à la carte) offers dinner with the sound of the waves, serving modern takes on local cuisine – ideal for a date night or a special family meal. One visit per stay is typically included in the All Inclusive package (reservation and availability required; supplements may apply beyond this).
Drinks are covered by two bars: a pool bar for daytime refreshments and casual snacks, and a lobby bar open into the evening for cocktails, wine and long drinks in a relaxed indoor–outdoor setting.
All Inclusive generally includes buffet meals, snacks for at least three hours per day and a selection of local spirits, beer, wine, soft drinks, tea and coffee served for a minimum of 12 hours daily, usually until 23:00. Drinks after 23:00 are chargeable and offerings can change seasonally. For more on what to expect from a typical package, see what All Inclusive typically includes.
