Map & location
Skopelos Town, Skopelos Island, Greece
Aeolos Hotel sits on the edge of Skopelos Town, looking out over the bay with green hills rising behind. Stroll around 500m to reach the nearest beach and a clutch of bars and tavernas, or continue along the glittering waterfront into the old town in about 700m.
Skopelos Town itself is one of the prettiest harbours in the Sporades: whitewashed, terracotta-topped houses, steep cobbled streets, tiny chapels and the ruins of a Venetian castle, all wrapped around a horseshoe-shaped bay. It’s easy to while away days dipping between beaches, harbourfront seafood spots and sleepy backstreet cafés.

- Approx. transfer time from airport (Skiathos JSI) 2 hours including ferry crossing.

- Sunbathing terrace with loungers and parasols.
- Pool towels available for a local charge.
The nearest beach is about 500m away – a gentle walk where you’ll find a mix of pebbly and sandy stretches, clear turquoise water and low-key seafront tavernas perfect for long lunches by the sea.
Spa, sports & wellness

Skopelos Town is a charming harbour settlement with a relaxed, authentically Greek feel. Narrow streets, small squares and family-run tavernas line the hillside above the waterfront. It’s a great base for exploring the island’s pine-backed bays and coves, with regular boat trips heading out in summer.
