Map & location
Tucepi, Split and Dalmatian Coast, Croatia
Bluesun Hotel Jadran occupies one of Tucepi’s prime seafront spots on the Makarska Riviera, with the crystalline Adriatic on one side and the rugged Biokovo Mountain on the other. A pine-shaded promenade threads right in front of the hotel, leading you along the shore to cafés, beach bars and little marinas.
The resort centre of Tucepi is close enough for an evening stroll or a quick taxi, while lively Makarska – with its buzzy waterfront, cave bars and nightlife – is an easy hop along the coast when you fancy a change of pace. Inland, hiking and panoramic viewpoints in Biokovo Nature Park tempt more active travellers, and boat trips make island-hopping to Brac or Hvar very doable in a day.

Facilities
Pool & outdoors
With three pools stepping down towards the shore and the Adriatic just a few metres away, days here tend to revolve around the water.
The star of the show is the infinity-style pool terrace, where the water seems to blend into the sea beyond. Sunbeds and parasols line the deck, and towel service is available with a refundable deposit. Another heated outdoor freshwater pool extends the season from spring through to autumn, while a third pool offers a quieter corner to cool off.
Directly in front of the hotel, a long pebble beach unfurls along a pine-backed bay. The water is typically clear and calm, making it ideal for swimming, paddleboarding or simply floating and taking in the mountain views. Along the seafront promenade you’ll find additional beach bars and watersports run by independent operators, including pedalos, motorised activities and scuba diving (usually for ages 18+).
Spa, sports & wellness
Wellness and activity lovers are well catered for at Bluesun Hotel Jadran.
The spa features a sauna, steam room and a menu of massages and beauty treatments (local charges, typically 16+), ideal after a day exploring the coastline. The air‑conditioned gym is well equipped with cardio machines, free weights, strength equipment and a stretching zone and is usually open daily from morning until evening.
A varied activity programme might include aerobics, aqua aerobics, yoga, basketball, football, handball and table tennis (some sports and equipment may incur a fee). In high season you can expect regular daytime activities – often water-based – plus evening entertainment such as live music. As the season winds down, the entertainment schedule becomes occasional but the atmosphere stays pleasantly relaxed.
Additional amenities include a 24-hour reception with concierge services, English-language newspapers (payable locally), and practical touches like highchairs in the restaurants.
