Car hire is not essential, as you have restaurants, pools, the beach and entertainment on site, and Porto Petro can be reached on foot or by short taxi. Hiring a car can, however, be a great option if you want to explore more coves along the south-east coast at your own pace.
Are there good facilities for younger children and babies?
Yes. As well as four children’s pools and a splash park, there is an indoor soft play area (usually up to age 3), outdoor playground, dedicated Star Camp club for 4–7-year-olds, and highchairs and microwaves in key restaurants. The hotel can provide items such as bottle warmers and pushchairs for hire, subject to availability and local charge. Family rooms and apartments with separate sleeping areas also work well for nap times.
