Just a short stroll from the harbour and seafront of Cala Bona, Ferrer Isabel is a relaxed, great-value aparthotel that delivers way more than its official 3-star rating suggests. Expect genuinely friendly service, bright and spacious suites, a generous All Inclusive programme and a big, inviting pool with a dedicated children’s section. Add in the complimentary shuttle to the beach and resort centre, regular family entertainment and a buffet restaurant with al fresco terrace, and you’ve got a low-fuss Majorca base that works brilliantly for both couples and families.

Map & location
Cala Bona, Majorca, Balearic Islands, Spain
Cala Bona is one of Majorca’s gentlest east-coast resorts – think a traditional fishing harbour, seafront promenades and low-key bars rather than big clubs. Ferrer Isabel sits in a quieter area of the resort, close enough to walk to the marina and beachfront but set back enough for peaceful nights.
You can wander the two-kilometre seafront linking Cala Bona and neighbouring Cala Millor, dotted with small sandy coves, casual cafés and seafood restaurants that nod to the area’s fishing heritage. Back in the village you’ll find narrow streets, local bakeries and laid-back tapas spots, plus more modern corners for souvenir shopping and ice creams.

Facilities
Pool & outdoors
The central outdoor freshwater pool is the social hub of Ferrer Isabel, surrounded by a spacious sun terrace with plenty of sunbeds and parasols. One end of the pool features a shallow children’s section, so little ones can splash about safely while you keep an eye from your lounger or the pool bar.
There’s also a separate outdoor children’s pool, ideal for toddlers getting used to the water. Pool facilities and depths may vary slightly by section, and lifeguard hours are typically limited to set times.
When you fancy the sea, Cala Bona’s main stretch of sand and small coves are about 850m away, or you can simply hop on the hotel’s complimentary shuttle to the beach and resort centre (subject to timetable, seasonal).
Spa, sports & wellness
This is a relaxed aparthotel with the focus firmly on easy days in the sun rather than full-on sports complexes, but there’s still plenty to keep everyone occupied:
• Frequent daytime entertainment (seasonal) with arts and crafts, small team games and family activities
• Regular evening entertainment from May to October including bingo, karaoke, quizzes, in-house shows, live music, professional performances and a mini-disco for children
While there’s no dedicated spa on site, the hotel offers a handy range of extras and hire options at reception, including fans, kettles, pushchairs, motorised scooters and wheelchairs (all subject to local charge and availability). Concierge-style assistance and luggage storage are also available, making arrivals and departures a little smoother.
Facilities and programmes are often seasonal and may vary by occupancy; the team will share the current schedule on check-in.

Food & drink
Meals at Ferrer Isabel centre on the main buffet restaurant, where you can expect a mix of international crowd-pleasers and Spanish touches. Buffet-style breakfast, lunch and dinner are served here for guests on Half Board and All Inclusive plans, with show cooking stations keeping things fresh and varied. Highchairs and a microwave are available for families, and there’s also an outdoor terrace so you can dine al fresco when the weather plays ball (which in Majorca is most of the time).
Smart-casual dress is requested in the restaurant – beachwear is a no, and gentlemen may be asked to wear long trousers in the evenings.
By the pool, the laid-back pool bar serves drinks and light bites, perfect for a quick refuel between swims or a lazy afternoon cocktail. With All Inclusive and All Inclusive Plus, local soft drinks, beer, wine and spirits are available for a minimum of 12 hours per day, alongside snacks for at least three hours daily. All Inclusive Plus also includes a Nespresso machine with a welcome capsule pack in your room.
