Map & location
Cannigione, Sardinia, Italy
Laconia Village is tucked into the peaceful La Conia area of Cannigione, a former fishing village turned relaxed seaside town on Sardinia’s north coast. The hotel overlooks the Gulf of Arzachena, with low-rise buildings stepping down towards the seafront.
You’re a short, easy stroll from several coves and small sandy beaches, with New Laconia Beach closest and Spiaggia di La Conia just a little further along the promenade. Cannigione itself is around 2km away – close enough for an evening wander to the harbour, gelato bars and trattorie, but far enough to keep things calm back at base.
From here you can take boat trips around the Maddalena archipelago, day-trip to Costa Smeralda’s iconic bays or simply beach-hop along the north-coast shoreline.

Facilities
Pool & outdoors
The heart of the hotel is the outdoor freshwater pool, edged with sunbeds and a separate children’s section so younger guests can splash in shallower water. Do note that swimming caps are mandatory in the pool – a common rule in Italy – so it’s worth packing your own.
The main pool usually operates from around mid-April to mid-October, weather permitting, with a sunbathing terrace that catches the Sardinian rays through the day.
When you want sand between your toes, New Laconia Beach is roughly 350m away. Here the hotel operates a concession between late May and late September, offering sunbeds and umbrellas for a daily fee (prices vary by date range and are payable locally, subject to availability). In high summer this is a big plus, as public beaches can get busy and shaded spots go fast.
A little further along you’ll find Spiaggia di La Conia and, within a short drive, Spiaggia Bianca and other coves with the clear, turquoise water this coast is famous for.
Spa, sports & wellness
Laconia Village keeps things simple on the sports side, with a football area ideal for impromptu five-a-side matches or children burning off energy, plus organised team games as part of the activities programme in high season.
Daytime entertainment runs from early June to mid-September and can include light fitness, poolside games and small competitions. Evenings often feature live music and family-friendly shows on selected nights, with some of the programme presented in Italian for a nice local flavour.
Around the property you’ll find a 24-hour style reception and the usual holiday essentials, and there’s free Wi-Fi throughout so you can plan day trips or keep teens connected. There is no full spa on site, but the quiet surroundings, sea air and easy access to Cannigione’s waterfront give the resort a restful feel between family activities.
