Set high above Puerto De La Cruz amid lush subtropical gardens, Hotel Tigaiga is a long-loved hideaway with sweeping views of Mount Teide and the Atlantic. With just 83 rooms, a calm, grown-up pool scene and genuinely warm service, it\u2019s made for unhurried Tenerife days \u2013 from lingering breakfasts on the terrace to sunset strolls down into town.

Hotel Tigaiga sits in an elevated, peaceful corner of Puerto De La Cruz, tucked beside Parque Taoro’s landscaped grounds. From here you look out across terracotta rooftops to the Atlantic, with Mount Teide dominating the skyline behind you.
It\u2019s a leisurely stroll or short taxi ride down to the resort centre, where you\u2019ll find the seafront promenade, dark-sand beaches and the famous Lago Martiánez seawater pools. The north of Tenerife is greener and more traditional than the south, making this a great base for botanical gardens, historic streets and drives into the island’s volcanic interior.

Restaurante Jardín (Buffet Restaurant)
The main restaurant serves buffet breakfast and dinner, with show-cooking stations and a mix of international and Spanish dishes. Expect plenty of salads, grilled fish and meats, and vegetarian choices. Highchairs are available. The atmosphere is smart-casual; the hotel requests no beachwear and asks gentlemen to wear long trousers for dinner.
Restaurante A La Carta Tinguaro
An à la carte spot on the terrace, ideal for a more intimate lunch or dinner. The menu blends Canarian classics and wider Mediterranean influences, paired with local wines. Adults-only and with a relaxed, elegant dress code (no beachwear).
Bar Atlántico (Lounge Bar)
A cosy lounge bar (adults only) that opens in the evening, perfect for a pre-dinner aperitif or a quiet nightcap. Opening times may vary with occupancy, but it typically operates between 19:00 and 23:00.
