Facilities
Pool & outdoors
Life here naturally orbits the water. Outside, you’ll find two main freshwater pools edged by sun terraces with loungers and parasols, plus a separate outdoor children’s pool with fun water features and a dome – perfect for splashy playtime with little ones. The on-site aqua park adds extra excitement with slides and interactive elements, generally open between 10:00 and 18:00 (age, height and weight restrictions may apply).
If you fancy a quieter swim, there’s an indoor heated freshwater pool with whirlpool in the spa centre, typically heated between late April and early October – a handy retreat on cooler days at the start or end of the season. Complimentary pool towels are provided, so you can travel light.
Step through the gardens and you’re straight onto Playa De Muro’s long, gently shelving sandy beach. With its calm, shallow waters, this part of Alcudia Bay is especially well-suited to younger families, while older children and adults can dive into the resort’s watersports scene nearby (locally operated and payable).
Spa, sports & wellness
Staying active is easy at Iberostar Selection Albufera Park. The air-conditioned gym is equipped with cardio machines, a free weights area, sauna and whirlpool, usually open between 08:00 and 20:00 from late April to early October (hours may vary with occupancy). A programme of activities includes aerobics, aqua aerobics, pilates, yoga, darts, petanque, volleyball, paddle, tennis and table tennis – some activities and equipment may incur a local charge.
After all that exertion, wind down in the spa with a massage or beauty treatment (massage from 6+ years, beauty treatments from 16+, both with extra charge).
Family facilities are extensive: from Star Camp kids’ clubs and a shaded outdoor playground to an indoor soft play area with ball pit. Daily daytime and evening entertainment typically runs from March to November, with arts and crafts, games, sports, quizzes, mini-disco, live music, DJs and professional shows keeping everyone amused long after sunset.
Practical extras include a 24-hour reception with concierge and currency exchange services, luggage storage, motorised scooter charging and the option to hire motorised scooters, pushchairs and wheelchairs (all at an additional cost). Refillable water stations on each floor support the hotel’s sustainability focus and cut down on single-use plastic.

Buffet lovers have Mistral and Terral for generous breakfasts and dinners with live cooking stations and plenty of choice for younger palates, plus Tamarindos for international buffet lunches by the pool in high season. In the evenings you can mix things up with à la carte dinners: Kyknos plates up Greek favourites, Martinete focuses on Spanish flavours and tapas-style dishes, while Taqueria Nopal brings colourful Mexican cuisine to the table.
Snacks, ice cream and light bites are always within reach thanks to Ice Dream and the pool snack bar, while Oliba Bar, the main bar and the pool bars keep cocktails and chilled drinks flowing. Star Café – the 24-hour coffee bar – is a real family ally, with sweet treats, sandwiches and hot drinks for jet-lagged arrivals or late-night feeds.
A smart casual dress code may apply in certain venues (for example no beachwear and long trousers requested for gentlemen in some à la carte restaurants); reservations and supplements may vary depending on your All Inclusive inclusions and season.
