This 11-day tour is exclusively for women, travelling the length of Portugal from the Algarve to the Douro Valley. A tour director travels with the group, with local experts in key cities and several relaxed starts. You stay ten nights in hotels, with breakfast daily, two lunches and three dinners.
After a guided tour of Lisbon and Belem you head south to the Algarve and the fishing port of Lagos, then to the medieval walled city of Evora. A day in the Alentejo takes you to the white hilltop village of Monsaraz for lunch and a cruise on Lake Alqueva.

You taste wine at Casa Relvas, visit the sanctuary at Fatima and stay in Tomar, then tour Coimbra's baroque university library on the way to a farm-to-table lunch in the Douro Valley. After Guimaraes and a free day in Porto, you return to Lisbon via the walled town of Obidos.
