Tour overview
This 14-day holiday walks on four islands of the Azores, travelling by plane and ferry. A tour leader travels with the group, which numbers between ten and sixteen. You stay thirteen nights in hotels, with breakfast daily and a lunch.
Based in Ponta Delgada on Sao Miguel, you walk around the colourful crater lakes of Sete Cidades, visit Europe's only tea factory at Gorreana and walk in the Furnas Valley, with lunch among the volcanic scenery and a soak in thermal pools.

A flight to Sao Jorge brings walks from the central ridge down to the fajas. On Pico you taste wine in the UNESCO vineyards and walk the Misterios do Sul coastal trail, with optional whale watching. On Faial you tour the island, walk the Caldeira rim and visit the Capelinhos volcano centre before the trip ends in Horta.

If your international flight is part of your booking through us, we re-book at no cost. If you've booked flights separately, the tour's local team holds your transfer slot until you arrive. We strongly recommend a comprehensive travel insurance policy that includes delay and cancellation cover.
