Tanzania Safari Adventure: Serengeti, Ngorongoro & Lake Eyasi – 8 Days
The Serengeti, Ngorongoro and Tarangire plus the peoples of Lake Eyasi, with all meals.
Tour overview
This 8-day safari combines northern Tanzania’s great wildlife parks with time among the traditional peoples who live around them. A tour leader travels with the group, which numbers between four and fourteen, in a customised safari vehicle. You stay seven nights in a hotel, safari lodges and a permanent tented camp, with every meal included after the welcome dinner.
From Arusha you head to Tarangire for an afternoon game drive among elephants and baobabs, then travel to Lake Eyasi to meet the Hadzabe, among the last hunter-gatherers in Africa, and the Datoga, known for their metalwork.

Two nights in a tented camp in the Serengeti include a full day of game drives across its plains. You visit Olduvai Gorge, the cradle of humankind, and meet the Masai on the way to the Ngorongoro highlands, then spend a morning on the crater floor looking for lions, black rhinos and flamingos before returning to Arusha past Lake Manyara.
The physical rating is low. This safari suits travellers who want wildlife and culture in one well-organised trip.
