Serengeti Wildlife Experience – 8 Days
Lake Manyara, the Serengeti, Ngorongoro and Tarangire in a group of up to sixteen.
Tour overview
This 8-day safari visits four of northern Tanzania’s finest wildlife areas with a tour leader and driver-guides in 4WD safari vehicles. The group numbers between four and sixteen. You stay seven nights in a hotel in Arusha and comfortable lodges and tented camps, with all meals included on safari.
From Arusha you drive to Lake Manyara National Park for an afternoon game drive among elephants, baboons and tree-climbing lions. On the way to the Serengeti you visit Olduvai Gorge, one of the most important sites for the study of human origins, then spend two nights in a tented camp in the Seronera area, with a full day on the plains.

After a final Serengeti drive you stay near the Ngorongoro Crater at a lodge on a working coffee farm, and set out very early to descend into the crater in search of the Big Five. Your last park is Tarangire, home to some of Tanzania’s largest elephant herds, before you return to Kilimanjaro Airport.
The physical rating is low. This safari suits travellers who want a classic, well-paced introduction to Tanzania’s wildlife.
