Tour overview

This 7-day trek follows the Laugavegur, one of the world's great hiking trails, through Iceland's highlands. A local leader guides the group, which numbers between three and twelve, with a jeep carrying your luggage and food between huts. You stay two nights in a Reykjavik hotel and four in mountain huts, with most meals on the trail.

A highland bus takes you to Landmannalaugar, with its coloured rhyolite mountains and hot springs, and you begin the trek past steaming vents to the ice fields of Hrafntinnusker.
