Stockholm to Bergen: Sweden, Oslo & the Fjords – 9 Days
Eight nights in Stockholm, Vadstena, Oslo and Bergen, with the Flåm Railway and a Nærøyfjord cruise.
Tour overview
This 9-day trip travels from Stockholm to Bergen with two nights in each of four places. It starts with a guided walk through Stockholm's Old Town, Gamla Stan, then heads inland to Lake Vättern, Sweden's second-largest lake, for two nights at the Starby Hotel or similar, on a former 13th-century royal estate with indoor and outdoor spas.
On the way you visit the Old Linköping open-air museum, a reconstructed 19th-century Swedish town, and in Vadstena a local guide leads a walk through the medieval town, followed by a visit to Vadstena Castle. Next comes Oslo, with a walking tour past the Opera House, Karl Johans gate, the Royal Palace and City Hall.
