This 5-day self-guided walk explores the coast and countryside of the Costa Brava at your own pace. There is no group or tour leader; you follow detailed route notes and maps, with luggage transferred between hotels and a 24-hour assistance number. From Calella de Palafrugell, where your room has a sea-view balcony, a short transfer starts your walk inland to La Bisbal and a night in a restored 14th-century castle hotel with dinner.

The next day you walk gently across the Emporda plain via Peratallada, one of the best-preserved medieval villages in Catalonia, to the hilltop town of Begur. Shaded forest paths then lead to the beach at Tamariu and back along the coast to Calella.
