Dolomites Hiking: Tre Cime & Lago di Braies – 8 Days
The Dolomites' classic walks from a four-star hotel, in a group of up to fifteen.
Tour overview
This 8-day walking holiday explores the most famous peaks and lakes of the Dolomites from a single base, so there is no packing and unpacking. An International Mountain Leader and a tour leader guide the group, which numbers between four and fifteen. You stay seven nights at the four-star Hotel Adler, a 400-year-old inn on Villabassa's village square, with breakfast daily, five packed lunches and six dinners.
Your first walk leads straight from the hotel to the emerald waters of Lago di Braies. You then follow high pastures and ridges along the Austrian border from the Kreutzberg Pass to Nemes Alm, and climb among wildflowers towards Strudelkopf.

After a free day for the hotel's wellness centre or a bike ride, you walk beneath the three great towers of the Tre Cime di Lavaredo and take the eastern route up Monte Piana, scene of First World War battles, with one evening reserved for a Tyrolean gourmet dinner.
The physical rating is medium. This holiday suits keen walkers who want the Dolomites' classic routes in comfort.
