Peru Women-Only Tour: Machu Picchu, Cusco & the Nazca Lines – 13 Days
Lima, the Sacred Valley, Machu Picchu, Cusco and Paracas in luxury hotels, with a women-only group.
Tour overview
This 13-day escorted tour is designed for women travelling together, combining Peru's Inca heartland with its wildlife-rich desert coast and staying in some of the country's finest hotels. A female tour director travels with the group throughout, with local experts along the way. You stay twelve nights, at MGallery Manto in Lima, the Aranwa Sacred Valley resort in Urubamba, Sumaq Machu Picchu in Aguas Calientes, the JW Marriott El Convento in Cusco and Paracas, a Luxury Collection Resort. Twelve breakfasts, seven lunches and five dinners are included, among them a pachamanca lunch beside Laguna Piuray and lunch at the Museo Larco in Lima.
After a welcome dinner in Lima, the City of Kings, you explore its colonial centre and coastal districts with a local expert and have lunch among the pre-Columbian treasures of the Larco Museum. A flight takes you to Cusco and down into the Sacred Valley, where you visit the terraced Maras salt pans, still worked by local families, and enjoy a traditional earth-oven lunch beside a lake.

An Inca Rail train carries you along the Urubamba River to Aguas Calientes for two nights at the foot of Machu Picchu, giving time to explore the citadel with a guide and return at leisure. Back via Ollantaytambo, you spend three nights in Cusco, with a guided exploration of its Inca walls, cathedral and plazas and a free day to explore its markets, museums and cafés at your own pace.
Flying to Lima, you travel down the coast to Paracas, one of Peru's most historic coastal communities, for three nights. An optional flight takes you over the Nazca Lines, the mysterious desert geoglyphs, and a boat trip to the Ballestas Islands brings you close to blue-footed boobies, Humboldt penguins and sea lions. A visit to the Afro-Peruvian culture of Chincha rounds off the journey before your return to Lima.
The physical rating is medium, with altitude in the Andes and gentle walking. This tour suits women who want to explore Peru in comfort and good company, with relaxed starts and exceptional hotels. Departures are limited, so early booking is recommended for this popular trip.

What if my flight is delayed or cancelled?
If your international flight is part of your booking through us, we re-book at no cost. If you've booked flights separately, the tour's local team holds your transfer slot until you arrive. We strongly recommend a comprehensive travel insurance policy that includes delay and cancellation cover.
