This 7-day holiday mixes coastal walks with the food of Liguria from one seaside base. A tour leader travels with the group, which numbers between four and sixteen. You stay six nights at the family-run Hotel Stella del Mare in Chiavari, close to the seafront, with breakfast daily, two lunches and two dinners.
You take the train to Genoa to tour its palaces and master pesto in a class in the Palazzi dei Rolli, then walk in the Berissi Valley with a talk on sustainability and explore Chiavari's historic centre.
