This 14-day holiday is designed for people travelling on their own, with a twin or double room of your own and no single supplement. Return flights from London and a UK airport lounge are included, and a local host travels with the group. You stay eleven nights in good-quality hotels and lodges, with two nights in flight, and enjoy eleven breakfasts and ten dinners, including a farewell dinner.
After a tour of Windhoek you head south to Sossusvlei for two nights, rising early to explore some of the tallest dunes in the world. Through the edges of the Namib-Naukluft park you reach the coast at Swakopmund, with a free day for an optional dolphin and seal cruise.

In Damaraland you visit the rock engravings of Twyfelfontein, a World Heritage Site, and meet local people, then see the Petrified Forest on the way to Etosha for three nights, with a full-day game drive in 4×4 vehicles. Your last night is at a country estate near Windhoek, after a stop at Okahandja and its craft market.
