This 7-day escorted tour shows you Switzerland's mountains, lakes and grand resorts at a relaxed pace, with several late starts. A tour director leads the tour throughout, travelling by air-conditioned coach with extra legroom. You stay six nights in hotels in Lucerne, St Moritz, Grindelwald and Geneva, with breakfast daily, a lunch on the train and four dinners, including a fondue with wine in Geneva.
On arrival you transfer to Lucerne for a light dinner, then explore the city's covered wooden bridges and painted squares the next morning before travelling to St Moritz, the chic Engadine resort, for two nights, with a free day for its spa, lake and mountain trails.

A spectacular rail journey, with lunch on board, takes you through the tunnels of the Albula Pass and across the Landwasser Viaduct on the way to Grindelwald, beneath the north face of the Eiger. A free day lets you ride the cogwheel railway towards the Jungfrau or explore the village. Travelling to Lake Geneva, you visit the Château de Chillon with its curator, then end the tour in Geneva with a fondue dinner.
