When to go to Kos

The season runs from May to October, with July and August the hottest months at around 30°C. The north coast can be breezy in summer, which keeps things comfortable.

Getting there and getting around

Flights take about four hours, and transfers are 20 minutes to an hour and a half. Kos is flat, with cycle lanes linking many resorts. Boats run to Bodrum in Turkey (bring your passport) and to the volcanic island of Nisyros.
