Trip overview

Dubai and the Maldives sit four hours apart on the same Emirates network, which makes this a simple city-and-island pairing to arrange. Spend three nights on Dubai's Jumeirah Beach Residence waterfront, with the Burj Khalifa, the old souks along Dubai Creek and an evening in the desert all within easy reach. Then fly on to Malé and take a seaplane over the atolls to your island.

The Maldives half of the trip is simple by design: seven nights on one island, with all meals and drinks included, a house reef a few fins from the beach and nothing to plan beyond the next snorkel. Breaking the journey in Dubai also takes the edge off the long flight out, so you arrive in the Maldives rested.

Trip highlights

  • Sunset views from the Burj Khalifa observation decks
  • Abra ride across Dubai Creek to the gold and spice souks
  • Optional desert safari with dinner under the stars
  • Seaplane flight over the Raa Atoll reefs
  • Seven all-inclusive nights on a Maldives island
  • Snorkelling on the resort's house reef

Prices checked October 2026. Prices change daily; your Travel Designer confirms today's live price before you book. Business class and regional airports on request.

Best time to go: November to April is the best time for both: Dubai is warm rather than fierce and the Maldives is in its dry season. May, June and September usually give better value, with hotter days in Dubai and more chance of showers in the Maldives.

Good to know

Can I fly from outside London?

Yes. Emirates also flies to Dubai from Manchester, Birmingham, Newcastle, Glasgow and Edinburgh, and the price changes with the airport.

Should I visit Dubai before or after the Maldives?

Most people do Dubai first to break up the journey, then finish relaxing on the island. It works the other way round too, if you'd rather end with the city.

How hot is Dubai in summer?

From June to September daytime temperatures often pass 40°C, so sightseeing is best early morning and evening. Hotels, malls and the metro are all air-conditioned.

Can we stay in an overwater villa?

Yes. Overwater villas can be added at this resort or at an upgrade such as Adaaran Prestige Vadoo. Ask us and we will price it for your dates.
