Map & location
Side, Antalya Area, Turkey
Can Garden Resort sits in the Colakli area, just outside the historic town of Side on Turkey’s Mediterranean coast. The setting balances a peaceful, resort-style atmosphere with easy access to local life – you’re a short stroll from shops and restaurants, and just 600m from the hotel’s own stretch of private beach.
Side itself is one of Turkey’s most characterful seaside towns, famed for its long sandy beaches and well-preserved ancient ruins. Spend days between the pools and beach, then head into town to wander the old harbour, browse leather and jewellery shops, or catch sunset by the Temple of Apollo.

Facilities
Pool & outdoors
Water babies are spoilt for choice at Can Garden Resort.
Outside you’ll find:
- 3 outdoor freshwater pools including a main activity pool with slides, a quieter pool with children’s section, and a separate kids’ pool ideal for little paddlers.
- Spacious sun terraces with plenty of sunbeds and parasols.
- Baby-changing facilities by the pools and a relaxed policy on inflatables.
Indoors, there are:
- 2 heated freshwater pools, including a children’s pool, generally open in shoulder seasons (spring and late autumn) with specific dates dependent on occupancy.
Down at the coast, the hotel’s private beach (around 600m away) offers loungers, parasols and a beach bar, all accessed via a free shuttle. It’s an easy option for mixing pool days with time on the sand without worrying about logistics or extra costs for sunbeds.
Spa, sports & wellness
When it’s time to slow the pace, head for the spa, which features a traditional Turkish bath, sauna and a menu of massage and beauty treatments for guests aged 18+ (charges apply). It’s a lovely contrast to the buzz of the pools.
Those who like to keep active on holiday can use the air-conditioned gym, equipped with cardio machines, a free weights area and strength equipment, generally open from morning until early evening. Lighter activities such as darts and table tennis provide easy fun between swims.
Elsewhere around the resort you’ll find:
- On-site mini-market for essentials.
- Reception services including luggage storage and access to international newspapers (local charge).
- Certified sustainable practices, reflecting the hotel’s focus on environmentally-responsible operations.
Entertainment is a strong point, with a busy daytime and evening programme in high season and a gentler schedule in the cooler months, so there’s usually something on without it feeling overwhelming.
