Map & location
Alanya, Antalya Area, Turkey
Avena Resort & Spa Hotel sits in the popular resort of Alanya on Turkey’s Antalya Coast. The hotel is tucked a short walk back from the main beachfront, with local shops and restaurants about 85m away, so you can easily mix hotel facilities with strolls out for a change of scene.
Alanya itself is a lively town split by a rocky peninsula, with two long Blue Flag beaches, a historic castle crowning the headland, and a waterfront lined with bars, cafes and boat trips. It’s a great choice if you like a classic sun-and-sea break with the option of nightlife, water sports and day excursions into the countryside.

Facilities
Pool & outdoors
You’ll find two main outdoor pools here, all freshwater. The central feature pool comes with a generous sunbathing terrace, lined with loungers and parasols, and is where you’ll spend most of your lazy days. There’s also a separate children’s pool so younger guests can splash about in shallower water.
For added fun, an outdoor pool with waterslides (typically operating from 01 May to 30 September) keeps kids and teens entertained for hours. Pool towels, sunbeds and parasols are provided around the pools and on the hotel’s private beach area.
The beach is about 290m away, and the hotel has its own section with sunbeds, parasols and a beach bar serving soft drinks and snacks on the All Inclusive plan in season, giving you a little extra comfort right by the sea.

Practical touches include a 24-hour-style reception with luggage storage and the option to hire equipment such as wheelchairs (local charges apply). Certified sustainable-hotel practices such as reduced plastic and energy-saving initiatives may also be in place.

Food & drink
The main buffet restaurant keeps mealtimes easy, with a spread of Turkish and international dishes for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Expect show-cooking stations, salads, grills and family favourites, plus highchairs for little ones. Beachwear is kindly discouraged in the restaurant.
You’ll never be far from a drink or snack thanks to the resort’s five bars. There’s a lobby bar open late into the evening, a pool bar, a patisserie bar for something sweet, and a pool snack bar serving light bites during the day. Down at the private beach, the hotel’s beach bar serves All Inclusive soft drinks and snacks during the season, with alcoholic drinks available at extra cost.
A smart-casual dress code may apply in the evenings, and some venues or opening hours are seasonal and subject to change by the hotel.
