Facilities

Pool & outdoors

Water babies are spoilt for choice here. The resort features five outdoor pools, including a dedicated children’s pool and pools with integrated kids’ sections, spread across the gardens so you can pick a lively or quieter spot. Some pools are freshwater and others saltwater, and there’s also a heated indoor freshwater pool available in the cooler months (open on selected dates in spring and autumn, with set hours).

The headline act for families is the aqua park with water slides, plus a separate splash park packed with tipping buckets, fountains, water cannons and jets, typically operating daily between June and October during daytime hours. Age, height or weight restrictions may apply for some attractions.

Sunbeds and parasols are provided, with pool towels available on a refundable deposit. From the gardens you can wander down to rocky platforms and small coves for sea swimming and snorkelling, with external providers offering watersports such as canoeing, inflatables, motorised options and scuba diving nearby (seasonal; extra charge, run by independent operators).

Spa, sports & wellness

Active guests can head to the air-conditioned gym, equipped with cardio machines, a free-weights area and fixed strength equipment (minimum age 16; typical opening 09:00–19:00, subject to change). Daily activities might include aerobics, aqua aerobics, yoga, pilates, darts, mini-golf, pétanque, dance classes, football, table tennis and more.

The Spa Sensations area offers a sauna, whirlpool and a menu of massages and beauty treatments, along with a hairdressing salon (charges apply; minimum age for spa generally 15+; opening hours vary by occupancy).

Children are brilliantly catered for with Star Camp Monkey, Dolphin and Eagle clubs split by age (from 4–17 years), a playground and indoor play areas, alongside dedicated entertainment and games. Adults and families can enjoy a full entertainment programme in high season, from arts and crafts and sports tournaments by day to live music, mini-discos, shows and themed evenings at night.

A small on-site mini-market covers beach basics, snacks and souvenirs, while reception can help with local information, luggage storage and arranging wheelchair or mobility equipment hire (extra charge).

Exact details can change each season, so check the information sheet you receive on arrival.
Does the hotel have a proper sandy beach?
The property is officially beachfront, sitting on a rocky shoreline with small coves and sea-access points within the grounds rather than one long open beach. For broader sandy bays, you can head into Panormos or explore nearby beaches by local bus, taxi or hire car, while still enjoying sea swimming and sunbathing platforms on site.

Can I book interconnecting or side-by-side rooms?
The property offers a wide range of room and bungalow types, particularly family bungalows that already include extra sleeping areas. Interconnecting rooms are limited and cannot be guaranteed, but you can request nearby or adjoining rooms at the time of booking, and the hotel will do its best to accommodate this subject to availability on arrival.
How far is the hotel from Panormos and Rethymnon?
The resort is approximately 3km from Panormos village, where you’ll find a small harbour, three sandy coves and a handful of tavernas and cafés. Rethymnon, with its atmospheric old town and Venetian harbour, is about 18km away and easily reachable by taxi, local bus or organised excursion.
