Havana is nothing short of fascinating. The crumbling facades, reminiscent of a past grandeur, the eclectic architecture, the disquieting sound of 1950’s classic American cars filling the streets and mixing with the sounds of rumba, salsa, jazz coming from every household… it all comes together to create a cityscape that’s sensual and nostalgic, hopeful, and beautiful. One of our favourite places in the world, Havana stands alone as this stubbornly different, sometimes frustrating city that captivates the imagination of millions of visitors each year.

Take a leisurely walk down the cobbled streets of Old Havana to discover beautifully preserved colonial plazas, the imposing Spanish forts protecting the bay, and majestic buildings like the Havana Cathedral or the Palacio de los Capitanes Generales, the Spanish seat of government in Cuba during colonial times.

Explore Havana onboard a classic American car. Ask the driver to take you around the Capitol building, along the Havana seafront drive (Malecon), and perhaps to the iconic Revolution Square. Don’t forget your shades and hat if riding a convertible. The sun in Cuba can be quite unforgiving.

Discover Havana’s bars in Old Havana. From classic haunts like Floridita or the original Sloppy Joe’s to modern gems like O’Reilly 304, there’s lots to choose from.
