Sensational South Africa with Flights & Home Pick-Up – 14 Days
The Kruger, the Panorama Route, the Garden Route and Cape Town, with flights and a home chauffeur service.
Tour overview
This 14-day escorted tour journeys from the bushveld of the Kruger to the Cape, with door-to-door service from your home and return flights from London Heathrow, plus internal flights. A tour director travels with you throughout, and hotel porterage is included. You stay eleven nights in hotels: one in Sandton, three in the Kruger region, one in Gqeberha, two in Knysna and four in Cape Town, with two nights in flight. Breakfast is included daily, along with a lunch and four dinners.
A chauffeur collects you from home for your flight to Johannesburg. After an orientation tour of Pretoria, with its jacaranda-lined streets and the Voortrekker Monument, you stay in Sandton. Heading east into Mpumalanga, you pass through Pilgrim's Rest, a gold-rush town frozen in time, and look out from God's Window across a deep gorge towards the Kruger. Before sunrise the next day you set off on a full day of game drives in Kruger National Park, looking for lions, elephants, buffalo, leopards and rhinos, with a free day after to relax or join another drive.

A flight brings you to Gqeberha, then you follow the Garden Route, one of South Africa's most scenic drives, stopping at Storms River in Tsitsikamma National Park, where you may walk to the suspension bridge over the river mouth. In Knysna you take a ferry across the lagoon to the Featherbed Nature Reserve for a guided walk and lunch. Crossing the Outeniqua Mountains into the Klein Karoo, you tour an ostrich farm in Oudtshoorn before continuing to Cape Town.
Four nights in Cape Town include a city tour of the waterfront and the colourful Bo-Kaap, a cable car ride up Table Mountain, weather permitting, and a full day on the Cape Peninsula with Chapman's Peak, Simon's Town, Boulders Beach and its penguins, and Cape Point. A free day lets you explore the V&A Waterfront or the winelands before the flight home and your chauffeur back to your door.
The physical rating is low. This tour suits travellers who want a comprehensive and effortless South Africa holiday.

What financial protection do I get?
Every Travelisto booking is 100% financially protected. Your money is held in a ring-fenced Trust account until you return from your trip, and we are members of the Protected Trust Services scheme (PTS 6035). Most tours also include ATOL protection where flights are part of the package.
Are flights included?
Yes, return flights from London Heathrow and internal flights within South Africa.
Is there a home pick-up?
Yes, a chauffeur collects you from home and returns you at the end.
How many game drives are there?
A full day of game drives in the Kruger, with an optional extra drive on the free day.
Do I need a visa?
UK citizens don't need a visa for South Africa, but passports need two blank pages.
Is there a single supplement?
In most cases, yes.
Who leads the tour?
A tour director travels with you throughout.
Can you tailor the trip?
Yes — every escorted tour can be modified into a private tailor-made version with your own dates, adjusted pace, upgraded hotels and add-on extensions. Tell us what you'd like changed when you enquire and we'll quote it both ways so you can compare.
What if my flight is delayed or cancelled?
If your international flight is part of your booking through us, we re-book at no cost. If you've booked flights separately, the tour's local team holds your transfer slot until you arrive. We strongly recommend a comprehensive travel insurance policy that includes delay and cancellation cover.
Not quite the right fit? Make it tailor-made.
If this group tour doesn't match your ideal trip, our specialists will turn it into a private tailor-made journey — your own dates, your own pace, upgraded hotels where you want them, and the parts you don't love swapped out. Same destinations, just rebuilt around you.
