Tour overview

This 15-day journey explores Rajasthan's forts, palaces and villages, with some memorable places to stay. A local leader travels with the group, which numbers no more than twelve, by express train and private vehicle. You stay fourteen nights in simple hotels, heritage properties and a lakeside tented camp, with a few meals included.

After exploring Old Delhi by metro and on foot, you take the train to Agra for the Taj Mahal. A night in the hilltop fort of Madhogarh is followed by Jaipur, the Pink City, and a safari in Ranthambhore National Park in search of tigers.

In Bundi you meet a chai master and wander its markets, then spend a night at a tented camp on Paangarh Lake and a night in a heritage property in Bijaipur, with an open-top jeep ride through the countryside.
