Country Roads of Scandinavia: Oslo to Copenhagen – 12 Days
Norway’s fjords and coast and Denmark’s towns by coach with a tour director.
Tour overview
This 12-day escorted tour travels from Norway’s fjords to the gentle countryside of Denmark, with relaxed starts on several mornings. A tour director leads the tour throughout, travelling by air-conditioned coach with extra legroom, with local experts in key cities. You stay eleven nights in quality hotels, with breakfast daily and six dinners, including a farm-to-table dinner in Aalborg.
After a welcome dinner in Oslo and a tour of the capital, you cross the Hardanger Plateau, Europe’s largest mountain plateau, to Ulvik on the Hardangerfjord. A cruise on the Nærøyfjord, a World Heritage Site, and a visit to Flåm lead to Bergen and its Hanseatic wharf. You then follow the coast by road and ferry to Stavanger and Kristiansand, with a visit to a wild salmon centre in Lyngdal.

Sailing across the Skagerrak to Denmark, you continue to Aalborg, then visit Aarhus on the way to Odense, the birthplace of Hans Christian Andersen. In Copenhagen a local expert shows you the Little Mermaid and the city’s highlights before a final dinner focused on sustainable food.
The physical rating is low. This tour suits travellers who want to see Norway’s fjords and Denmark’s towns in comfort.

What if my flight is delayed or cancelled?
If your international flight is part of your booking through us, we re-book at no cost. If you've booked flights separately, the tour's local team holds your transfer slot until you arrive. We strongly recommend a comprehensive travel insurance policy that includes delay and cancellation cover.
Not quite the right fit? Make it tailor-made.
