Panoramic Peru with Flights – 14 Days
Lima, the Sacred Valley, Machu Picchu, Cusco, Lake Titicaca and the Colca Canyon, with flights and most meals.
Tour overview
This 14-day escorted tour shows you the highlights of Peru in comfort, with return flights from the UK, domestic flights and two scenic train journeys included. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are included almost every day. You stay twelve nights in handpicked hotels, including two at the Belmond Monasterio, a former monastery near Cusco's Plaza de Armas, with a night in flight on the way home. Groups range from twelve to twenty-eight travellers.
In Lima a city tour visits the World Heritage historic centre, the San Francisco Monastery, the colonial mansion of Casa Aliaga and the Huaca Pucllana ruins. You fly to Cusco and continue to the Sacred Valley, where local artisans share their weaving, pottery and jewellery-making before a visit to the ruins of Pisac. The next day you see the circular Inca terraces of Moray, the salt pans of Maras and the fortress of Ollantaytambo.

The panoramic Vistadome train carries you down the Urubamba gorge to Aguas Calientes for a guided visit to Machu Picchu, with a free morning the next day to climb Huayna Picchu, revisit the citadel or soak in the hot springs. In Cusco you tour Coricancha and the cathedral, take part in a traditional Quechua offering to Pachamama and enjoy a folklore show.
A luxury train with dining and observation cars and a gourmet Andean lunch takes you across the high plains to Puno, where a boat trip visits the floating Uros Islands and Taquile. Driving past flamingos and volcanoes to over 4,800 metres, you reach the Colca Canyon for the hot springs at Chivay, then look for condors at the Cruz del Condor on the way to Arequipa. After a tour of the White City you fly to Lima for a farewell dinner.
The physical rating is medium, with time at high altitude. This tour suits travellers who want to see Peru's great sights with almost everything included.

What financial protection do I get?
Every Travelisto booking is 100% financially protected. Your money is held in a ring-fenced Trust account until you return from your trip, and we are members of the Protected Trust Services scheme (PTS 6035). Most tours also include ATOL protection where flights are part of the package.
Are flights included?
Yes, return flights from the UK and flights from Lima to Cusco and Arequipa to Lima.
Which meals are included?
Almost all of them, with breakfast, lunch and dinner on most days.
Is altitude a concern?
Cusco, Puno and Colca are at high altitude, and the Colca road reaches 4,820 metres. Take it slowly on arrival.
Do I need a visa?
UK citizens don't need a visa for Peru for tourist stays.
Can I climb Huayna Picchu?
Yes, as an optional tour on the morning of Day 6.
Can I explore on my own?
Yes, the morning of Day 6 is free for optional tours or time at Machu Picchu.
Can you tailor the trip?
Yes — every escorted tour can be modified into a private tailor-made version with your own dates, adjusted pace, upgraded hotels and add-on extensions. Tell us what you'd like changed when you enquire and we'll quote it both ways so you can compare.
What if my flight is delayed or cancelled?
If your international flight is part of your booking through us, we re-book at no cost. If you've booked flights separately, the tour's local team holds your transfer slot until you arrive. We strongly recommend a comprehensive travel insurance policy that includes delay and cancellation cover.
Not quite the right fit? Make it tailor-made.
If this group tour doesn't match your ideal trip, our specialists will turn it into a private tailor-made journey — your own dates, your own pace, upgraded hotels where you want them, and the parts you don't love swapped out. Same destinations, just rebuilt around you.
